ParticipantHi Daniel,
Thanks for using our plugins, and welcome back to the forums, I’m happy to help! In order to help, I would like to get some more information from you, if I can:-First, if you could please test for conflicts by following this documentation? Let me know what you find. I was unable to replicate this issue in my testing environment, so I need to rule out some possibilities here with your specific configuration.
-Can you send me a screenshot of the error messages your users get when trying to upload images? I think I may be able to point you in the right direction here, but I need to confirm some suspicions. 🙂Thanks!

ParticipantHi Leonie,
Welcome back to the forums and thanks for using our plugins! I’d be happy to help you out here. This is the second report I’ve seen of this issue. I think it’s possibly a bug. I’d like to get some more information from you here:
-First, if you could please test for conflicts by following this documentation? Let me know if you find any indications of conflict among your theme or other plugins. This will help me determine how deeply we need to look into the specific configuration of your site, or if this is a bug. 🙂
-Second, can you send me exact steps for replication of this issue, and a screenshot of your event’s settings on the back end?Once I have this information, we’ll be able to verify if this is a bug, and start the process to get it fixed. 🙂
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Manuel,
I’m going to log this as a bug in our system, as it seems to be a conflict between the latest version of our plugin and the theme’s page builder function.
I’d highly suggest rolling back to the last version of our plugin in the mean time, but I’d really love to get some more information from you to give our developers some direction on fixing this!
If you don’t mind, could you give me the following information:
- Specific version of the theme you’re using
- Exact steps for replicating the issue
Thanks for reaching out to us about this!
Best,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi Manuel,
So sorry to hear you’re noticing conflicts between our plugins and your theme’s page builder!
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee support with specific theme packages or provide theme-specific usage support, per our Scope of Support / Terms. However, if you could test for conflicts to verify that it is indeed a theme-related issue, by following this documentation, that would be helpful.
In the meantime, you can also roll back to the previous version of the plugin, or get some help customizing the plugin to resolve conflicts. If you need to find someone to help with the customizations, we also have some tips for finding help here.
One thing we also recommend for testing is to please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while using your theme’s builder, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Let me know about the conflict testing and debugging!
Hope this helps!

ParticipantHi Kyle,
Thanks for reaching out, and we’re so happy that overall, you like our plugins! I’d be happy to help you out with this.
I’m looking into some possible solutions now. While I do that, may I ask if this is a recent issue you’ve noticed (perhaps since an update) or if this has been going on for multiple plugin versions?
Thanks,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi Crystal,
Thanks for using our plugins, I’m happy to help! 🙂 In order to help, I’ll need a bit more information from you, if you don’t mind:
You mention that you’re having a similar issue to the thread listed above. Could you possibly write out exact steps for replication, just for clarity’s sake so that I can be sure my testing mirrors the process that produces this error? This would help a lot to determine whether we need to look into your specific configuration, or if this is a possible bug.
Best,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi Francis,
Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help.:)
I’ve done some testing on my own environment, and I’m not able to replicate this issue. Because of this, it seems like it may be a theme or plugin conflict. Could you please go through the steps here to test for a conflict and let me know what you find out? Then we’ll go from there!
Let me know if you have any questions about that!
Thanks,
Shelby

We’d be happy to help answer your questions. For the purpose of quality and efficiency, can you please open your own thread for this inquiry?

ParticipantHi Again Mark,
I’m unable to recreate the issue when using the Twenty-Sixteen theme and only Modern Tribe plugins. I’m fairly certain this is a theme or plugin conflict.
Can you try disabling your plugins for me again, switching to a default theme, and clearing your browser and site caches please?
Also, are your MT plugins up to date?
Thanks,
Shelby

ParticipantHey Mark,
Hope you had a lovely weekend!
No, there aren’t any known issues regarding what you’re experiencing. I’m going to try to replicate this issue on my end & I’ll update you after some testing. Hang in there! 🙂

ParticipantHey Mark,
If that didn’t change anything, I’m inclined to think it may be a miss configuration of settings. Can you go through our documentation here and ensure that you’ve configured it all properly?
Particularly, this one:
- Allow anonymous submissions: Allow anonymous (non-logged in) users to submit events on your site. With this feature disabled, only users with registered accounts may submit.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Shelby

ParticipantHi Ilana,
So a couple of my colleagues were able to replicate the issue, and it seems to be a theme conflict.
Could you please go through the documentation here to test for a conflict and let me know what you find out? Then we’ll go from there!
Let me know if you have any questions about that!
Thanks,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi Ilana,
You’ll notice I redacted the login info that you gave me, as we have a strict policy of not logging into customer websites. Sorry if my wording was misleading! I just wanted the URL to check out the issue live.
That said, I couldn’t replicate the issue, and I tried a few different ways. I’m going to check with some of my team here and see if any of them see the same issue shown in your screenshot, when navigating to your site. Likely I won’t get many responses until the morning, but I will definitely get back to you by tomorrow on this.
Thanks,
Shelby 🙂
