ParticipantHi Jannah,
Apologies for the delay here, I was out unexpectedly last week with a family emergency. Did you go through the conflict testing I asked you to complete? π
I’d love to help you resolve this if I can.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Steven,
Could you possibly send me a link to that thread you’re referencing?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Heinz,
Sure, so the payment portion of things is handled with the WooCommerce plugin. They natively support a couple of different options that you can check out here.
I hope that answers your question!

ParticipantHi Jennie,
You should definitely share that you’re getting 500 errors (which are server errors) and indicate that it’s when using the WordPress Importer plugin for our event post type. Also make sure they know that this is verified as an unusual issue that’s unable to be replicated by the plugin developers (that part will save you some back and forth of them telling you to check with us). π
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Jannah,
Thanks for the extra information, that really helps! π
This seems to me like it may be a theme or plugin conflict. I need you to goΒ through the steps here to test for a conflict please. π
Let me know what you find out & we’ll go from there!
Best,

ParticipantHey Kris,
Still working on replicating this one. I’m reaching out to some of my team mates to see if they’ll have any luck. Thanks for your patience!

ParticipantHey Dave,
So sorry you’re having these issues since your upgrade! Thanks for using The Events Calendar though, I’m happy to help. In order to help, I need you to please test for conflicts by following this documentation & let me know what you find out.
Also, I’m going to do some testing on this and get back with you, but so far I’ve been unable to replicate your issues. I will follow up once I have more info, but I wanted to let you know I am working on it.
While I work on this, but after you do the conflict testing, it may also be worthΒ rolling back to the previous version of the plugin you were on, as a temporary work around. (It would also be helpful for my purposes to know which version that was.)
Don’t worry, we’ll get this sorted.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Kyle,
So sorry you’re having these issues with your venues saving. I’m going to do some testing on this and get back with you, but so far I’ve been unable to replicate it. I will follow up once I have more info, but I wanted to let you know I am working on it.
I hate to ask, but could you possibly do the conflict testing on the actual install where you’re having problems? While I work on this, it may also be worth reaching out to your host to see if they have anything configured that may put limitations on the location data features.
We’ll get this sorted.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Kris,
I’m happy to help out with this!
First, I there are some things I’ll need to know in order to be more helpful:
- Could you send me your system information please?
- Are you using a caching plugin by chance?
After I hear back from you on these items, I should be able to help you get this sorted out. π
Thanks,
Shelby

ParticipantHey Remi,
Thanks for using our plugins!
Since you seem to be a current user of our premium plugins and/or free plugins, I recommend reaching out to our support on the Events Calendar PRO premium forum or WordPress.org forum. In those places, we have the capacity to provide more technical support. This Pre-Sales forum is reserved specifically for questions about the features of our plugins for users who are making decisions about which, if any, to purchase.
Let me know if I can clarify any of this!
Best,

ParticipantHi Mike,
Though I haven’t tested our shortcodes with uber menu personally (testing with all the various plugins would take LOTS of time), if shortcodes typically work within uber menu, I’m sure that ours will as well. (Here’s some documentation about how our shortcodes work π )
If not, we do have a 30-day refund policy, and we’d be happy to reimburse you if our plugin doesn’t meet your needs. π
Let me know if I can answer any follow up questions, or if you need any clarification on this!
Cheers,
Shelby π

ParticipantHey Adam,
Thanks for reaching out with your question on this one. I’m happy to help out. π
Unfortunately, in order to import anything other than a CSV, you will need an Event Aggregator license. You may, however, be able to find a tool to convert from .ics to .csv, though, we couldn’t support any issues that may result from this method, of course.
Please let me know if you need any clarification on this matter.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Nygrd,
As Courtney mentioned to Gerri, this is not currently a built in feature of the plugin, but should you like to see it come about, the best course of action is to upvote it in our feature request system here. Otherwise, you could hire a developer to customize the plugin and/or write some custom functions to add this functionality.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Dan,
I’m actually a bit confused as to why the sidebar widget is operating that way in your site.Β As far as I was aware, the mini calendar shortcode, and the sidebar widget behaved in exactly the same way.
So I did some testing on my local site, and found that, they do, indeed operate in the same way. You’re also running the latest version of the plugin, so, have you made modifications to the sidebar widget to get it to operate as it is currently on your dev site?
Thanks,
Shelby π
