ParticipantHi
I am using the tribe mini calendar shortcode to display the mini calendar.
[tribe_mini_calendar]
What is needed to add to the shortcode in order to hide the events under and to enable clicking on a date? Thanks,

ParticipantHey Dan,
Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help you out with this! 🙂
Sounds like you’re trying to make some pretty cool changes! 🙂 I want to make sure I’m understanding exactly what you’re trying to do, could you possibly send me some screenshots denoting the changes you want to make and a link to where you currently have the mini calendar your site? This will help me give you better guidance in this matter if I understand the application of your request more directly (plus I’m a visual person).
In the meantime, I think you may find this knowledgebase article helpful for the types of changes you’re trying to make. 🙂 Once I hear back from you, hopefully I can give you more specific resources.
Cheers!
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi Shelby,
Thanks for getting back.
What I wanted to achieve is exactly the sidebar widget, but with a shortcode.
You can see a demo here (this example is with a sidebar widget, not with a shortcode)

ParticipantHi Dan,
I’m actually a bit confused as to why the sidebar widget is operating that way in your site. As far as I was aware, the mini calendar shortcode, and the sidebar widget behaved in exactly the same way.
So I did some testing on my local site, and found that, they do, indeed operate in the same way. You’re also running the latest version of the plugin, so, have you made modifications to the sidebar widget to get it to operate as it is currently on your dev site?
Thanks,
Shelby 🙂
