ParticipantHi,
I have purchased The Events Calendar Pro (and Filter Bar), and I am using the [tribe_mini_calendar] shortcode on my site.
I need this widget to show upcoming events independent of the current month. I feel like this is a obvious feature that should be possible to achieve, and I would be very grateful for help. The way [tribe_mini_calendar] works is great – except for the upcoming events part…Thanks for your help.

ParticipantHi Nygrd,
Thanks for reaching out, I’m happy to help here!
Could you explain in more detail what you mean when you say, “I need this widget to show upcoming events independent of the current month.” ? For example, do you mean showing events beyond the current month in a list below the mini calendar, or perhaps, that you would be able to click to the next month and see a mini calendar for that as well? Please advise. 🙂
After you get me the more detailed information, I should be able to help you out with suggesting a feature, and possibly find a work around for the meantime.
Cheers!
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi,
Thanks for your reply.
Of course, let me try again.
I am using the [tribe_mini_calendar] widget, which generates:
– a mini calendar
– a list of events within the month the mini calendar is set to, which changes when you switch months on the mini calendar.I would like the list of events to include upcoming events regardless of which month the mini calendar is set to when you enter the site. And when you choose a month, it then acts as it does now – and shows the events within the month you’ve chosen.
If you take a look at the site I linked to in my main topic, and scroll down to the mini calendar, you’ll see that there’s a empty space to the right of it where my list is. This does not look very good… If you then choose April as the month, the two events in April show up. In my case, I would need there to be 6 events in that list at all times.
The [event_list] shortcode does what I’m looking for. But it does not have the mini calendar next to it…
Thanks again!

ParticipantHi Nygrd,
As Courtney mentioned to Gerri, this is not currently a built in feature of the plugin, but should you like to see it come about, the best course of action is to upvote it in our feature request system here. Otherwise, you could hire a developer to customize the plugin and/or write some custom functions to add this functionality.
Cheers!
Shelby 🙂
