ParticipantHey Sterling,
Thanks for using our plugins!
Since you seem to be a current user of our premium plugins and/or free plugins, I recommend reaching out to our support on the Events Calendar PRO premium forum or WordPress.org forum. In those places, we have the capacity to provide more technical support. This Pre-Sales forum is reserved specifically for questions about the features of our plugins for users who are making decisions about which, if any, to purchase.
If you need help accessing your account, you can email us for more private assistance. π
Let me know if I can clarify any of this!

ParticipantHey Jazmin,
Thanks for considering our plugins, I’m happy to help you out with these questions! π
Sounds like you’re trying to make some pretty cool changes! π I want to make sure I’m understanding exactly what you’re trying to do, could you possibly send me some screenshots denoting the changes you want to make? Perhaps you could use our demo site, WP Shindig, to show me? This will help me give you better guidance in this matter if I understand the application of your request more directly (plus I’m a visual person).
In the meantime, I think you may find our Themer’s Guide and our Functions List helpful for the types of changes you’re trying to make. π Once I hear back from you, hopefully I can give you more specific answers and some resources to point you in the right direction.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Joren,
Thanks for considering our plugins. I’m happy to answer your questions! π I’ll be answering below each point to make sure I don’t miss anything. π
1. Is it possible, when someones goes to an Event page, he/she can see the people who already go to the event?
Yes! We have an option to display the attendee list for each event. There’s more on that feature here. π
2. When someones signs in to go to an event, can the administrator and the person (both) can get a confirmation email?Built in, this is unfortunately not an option (yet!), however, we’ve had some users have some success using a plugin such as this one to extend the notification capabilities. π
3. Is it possible to show the events a person is going to? So when User A is going to the profile of User B, that User A can see the events of User B (where he is going to)?
Yes! And you can read more about doing that here. π
I hope that this answers your questions and gets you on the right track to implementing the best solution for your site, Joren! Let me know if you have any follow up questions. π
Best,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi Kim,
I’d be happy to answer your question today. π
I’m having trouble telling whether you already use the plugin or not, and since this is a Pre-Sales forum, I’ll be answering your question as if it is theoretical, but should you need help with implementation, please be advised that will be found on the premium forums.
Anywho, if I understand your scenario correctly, I believe you could use this free extension to add your custom attendee data to the order confirmation as you described.
Please let me know if I’ve misunderstood, or if you need more clarification or have follow up questions!
Best,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi Jules,
Thanks for considering our plugins for your project! I’m going to respond below each of your items so I can be sure I don’t miss anything. π
- When someone clicks on the event it expands out into an overview of the event. E.g. ability to add text, photos, overview, benefits and a call to action.
When an event is clicked on, it takes you to the event page. This can be accomplished with just our free The Events Calendar plugin. - Β Ability for us to send these links to people via Mailchimp or email.
You can send the link to the event page (referenced in #1) at any time, and this only requires The Events Calendar as well. - When they click on the event link, it gives them the option to attend or not. When they click Yes or No it automatically sends a confirmation email and summary to who is managing that. It would be good if it summaries information. E.g. 1000 people invited, 400 attending, 200 declined, 400 maybe.
This can be accomplished with the RSVP option in our free plugin, “Event Tickets” - Β Ability to resend links to database based on how many people have replied. E.g. If it is a live event, we may send 3-4 emails over a period of a month leading up to the event.
This is not a feature of any of our plugins currently, and would have to be handled through a different tool. - Ability for multiple KI people to edit calendar, but restrict the general public.
We may have large annual events where we ticket everything.
For this, you could create the functionality through WordPress users, and/or use our Community Events plugin.Β
I hope this answers all of your questions. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with follow up questions or clarifications. π
Cheers,
Shelby π

ParticipantOh no Trae!
That doesn’t sound good! Let’s see if we can get this resolved for you. π
A couple things:
- Can you verify for me that you referencedΒ this documentation to set up the plugin?
- Can you send me a screenshot of what you are seeing on your site?
- This may be a theme or plugin conflict. You can test this by following these steps. (this will be SUPER helpful so I can be of more assistance)
Please let me know if I can help at all with any of those steps or if you have questions about doing them. After you report back, I should be able to help you out with this. π
Cheers,
Shelby

ParticipantHi Bradley,
Thanks for reaching out, Iβd love to help you here! It sounds like you’re trying to make some pretty cool changes, which, as you know require some plugin/theme customization. Unfortunately, we’re not able to support development customizations to the plugin on these forums.
However,Β I think you’ll find the following resources helpful:

ParticipantHey Santiago,
Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help out here.:)
Unfortunately, I’m unable to replicate this issue on my end. Because I’m unable to replicate this issue on my testing server, this seems that it may be a theme or plugin conflict. Would you please work through the steps here to test for a conflict? This will help me be able to better assist you. π
Let me know what you find out & we’ll go from there!

As it turns out, Β you should be able to see all of the events in a recurring series! I’m also unable to replicate your issue on my local testing environment.
