ParticipantHey Fransico,
Thanks for posting, glad like our plugin, & Iβm happy to help.:)
This kind of request would require some plugin customization, which unfortunately isn’t supported, though we’re working hard on developing new features all the time for things like this. We have some resources for doing your own customizationsΒ here, if you feel like tackling it yourself is a viable option. If you need to find someone to help with the development, we also have some tips for finding help here.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Shelby π

ParticipantHey Janneke,
Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help out here.:)
Because I’m unable to replicate this issue on my testing server, this seems that it may be a theme or plugin conflict. Would you please work through the steps here to test for a conflict? This will help me be able to better assist you. π
Let me know what you find out & we’ll go from there!
Best,

ParticipantHi Alexander,
Thanks for reaching out, I’m happy to help! π
So, unfortunately right now we don’t offer the ability to use Filter Bar in the sidebar. However, the Filter Bar plugin can be set to a vertical layout which appears on the side of the page. You can also insert a mini calendar with a shortcode into a text widget, which you can read more about here.
I hope this clarifies some of the functionality for you. Please let me know if you have any follow up questions!
Best,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi Dan,
I’m happy to help out here. π
Unfortunately, there’s not a great way to do this using just CSS. However, this great tutorial to implement plus and minus icons that stay visible was shared in our team meeting this week.
Please let me know if you have follow up questions about this!
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Ryan,
Here’s a screen capture demo of adding an event. In this demo I create a recurring event, with tickets that are sold on different dates with a stock of 15 tickets. On the second one, I demonstrate how to create a drop down to denote different ticket types.Β Let me know if this answers your questions!

ParticipantHey Manuel,
Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help you out with this! π
Sounds like you’re trying to make some pretty cool changes! π I want to make sure I’m understanding exactly what you’re trying to do, could you possibly send me some screenshots denoting the changes you want to make and a link to your site? This will help me give you better guidance in this matter if I understand the application of your request more directly (plus I’m a visual person).
Let me know if you have any follow up questions as well. π
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Kevin,
I’m happy to help you out with this. Sounds like you’re trying to make some pretty cool changes! π Can you try ‘tribe_get_event_website_link’ instead of ‘tribe_get_event_website_url’ for me and let me know if that changes anything for you? If not, I’ll reach out to another member of my team. π
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Katie,
Thanks for your question! Unfortunately, at this time, location based auto-filtering isn’t a feature.
I hope this helps you with your planning for your project! Let me know if you have any further questions on this. π

ParticipantHi Marla,
Good questions!
Officially, The Event Calendar does support integration with WPML for multi-lingual functionality. However, we don’t have API integration.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions!
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Lindsey,
Great question! That would be a customization, though we’ve had a lot of requests for that, and it may be a feature in the future. π
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any follow up questions!

ParticipantHi Benno,
Thanks for reaching out.
Unfortunately, that’s not a feature our plugin is built with, though it should be a fairly simple change for a developer to customize for you, if you want to go the route of hiring a dev.
Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance in this matter!
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Mike,
Thanks for reaching out, I’m happy to help! π I’m going to break down your question below and answer each part so that I don’t miss anything:
- I require a view by the individual venueΒ
You can sort by venue with our Filter Bar plugin. More on that here. π - and then (possibly) by the room within the particular venue
This, unfortunately, would be a bit tough, unless you linked to urls of tags possibly, but it’s not a built in feature.Β - is it possible to have a dropdown that will filter the calendar by location?
We have a location search feature, which you can check out via this thread. π - Or to have different venue calendars display on different URLs?
This is also a possibility. See this example from our demo calendar, WP Shindig! π
Hope this helps to answer your questions!
Best,
Shelby π
April 11, 2017 at 7:39 pm in reply to: Add Recurring Events, Integrate w/ Shop, Multiple Ticket types #1268639Shelby
ParticipantHi Ryan,
My apologies on the confusion here!
So, Events Calendar PRO does support recurring events. However, Event Tickets Plus does not support ticket sales for recurring events, so the user must create separate tickets for each instance of the event by using the ticket “sale dates” under the recurring event settings, or create the event in separate instances.
Hope this helps provide a bit of clarification!
Thanks,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi Alston,
My apologies for misreading your question there!
Custom fields in the calendar would require a customization of the plugin that is beyond the free or PRO versions, so you’d need to hire a developer to code that part out for you.
Hope that helps! π
Cheers,
Shelby
