Minimum participants

Hi there

We are already using the Events Calendar and are thinking about an upgrade to the Pro version as we are planning further courses at our school.

For the further courses we are planning more automisation, for example; we would like to offer an evening course for simple print design. There will be a maximum number of participants (which i believe won’t be a problem with the plugin) but there are also a minimum number of participants required for the course to go ahead. Ideally, as places in the course are booked there would be something (text, icon, flag, marker?) that changes from “course might take place” to “course will definitely be held/take place” after the minimum number has been exceeded and then a “fully booked” when the course gets to the maximum number.

Can the Pro version or any of the plugins do this?

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, that’s not a feature our plugin is built with, though it should be a fairly simple change for a developer to customize for you, if you want to go the route of hiring a dev.
