GuestHi there,
Please help me select the plugins I need according to my clients wishlist below. I already have your Events Calendar installed.
1. When someone clicks on the event it expands out into an overview of the event. E.g. ability to add text, photos, overview, benefits and a call to action.
2. Ability for us to send these links to people via Mailchimp or email.
3. When they click on the event link, it gives them the option to attend or not. When they click Yes or No it automatically sends a confirmation email and summary to who is managing that. It would be good if it summaries information. E.g. 1000 people invited, 400 attending, 200 declined, 400 maybe.
4. Ability to resend links to database based on how many people have replied. E.g. If it is a live event, we may send 3-4 emails over a period of a month leading up to the event.
5. Ability for multiple KI people to edit calendar, but restrict the general public.
We may have large annual events where we ticket everything.Thank you!

ParticipantHi Jules,
Thanks for considering our plugins for your project! I’m going to respond below each of your items so I can be sure I don’t miss anything. 🙂
- When someone clicks on the event it expands out into an overview of the event. E.g. ability to add text, photos, overview, benefits and a call to action.
When an event is clicked on, it takes you to the event page. This can be accomplished with just our free The Events Calendar plugin. - Â Ability for us to send these links to people via Mailchimp or email.
You can send the link to the event page (referenced in #1) at any time, and this only requires The Events Calendar as well. - When they click on the event link, it gives them the option to attend or not. When they click Yes or No it automatically sends a confirmation email and summary to who is managing that. It would be good if it summaries information. E.g. 1000 people invited, 400 attending, 200 declined, 400 maybe.
This can be accomplished with the RSVP option in our free plugin, “Event Tickets” - Â Ability to resend links to database based on how many people have replied. E.g. If it is a live event, we may send 3-4 emails over a period of a month leading up to the event.
This is not a feature of any of our plugins currently, and would have to be handled through a different tool. - Ability for multiple KI people to edit calendar, but restrict the general public.
We may have large annual events where we ticket everything.
For this, you could create the functionality through WordPress users, and/or use our Community Events plugin.Â
I hope this answers all of your questions. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with follow up questions or clarifications. 🙂
Cheers,
Shelby 🙂

If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
