    Hi Adam,

Thanks for reaching out, I’m going to respond below inline to each item so that I can be sure not to miss anything:

    Changing ticket ownership
The only officially supported way to change this, would be to cancel the initial order and to have the client re-order under their original account. We have more information about managing orders and attendees in this knowledgebase article here.

    Cancelled orders
I’d recommend checking out this section of our knowledgebase about incomplete orders and unissued tickets. You’ll have to manage the status of orders/tickets with WooCommerce and this doc gives you a bit more info about that.Β

Can still check in cancelled ticket
This is related to a bug that’s currently pending fix. I’m going to associate this thread with our internal bug ticket so that you’ll get updates as we make progress on a fix. I do know that it’s currently in development, so it should be repaired relatively soon. πŸ™‚

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help on these fronts!

    Best,

    Hi again,

Thanks for clarifying, allow me to do the same. πŸ™‚

What you’re asking for is not possible at this time without some serious customization that we can’t provide in the forums here. If you want to hire a freelancer to help with this, we do have a list of recommendations here. I thought a good alternate solution might be to require your organizers to enter prices in USD, but allow users to switch between currency options for purchase. πŸ™‚

Hope this helps provide some clarity! Please feel free to let me know if there are any other questions I can help answer. πŸ™‚

    Cheers,

    Shelby

    Hey Ryan,

Yeah, that should definitely work. I need you to take the following troubleshooting steps please:

    1. Turn on WP_debug and let me know about any errors that reveals
    2. Clear Β your site cache
    3. Test for conflicts by following this documentation here

Let me know how this goes, and if you still have the issue you described when you’ve done all of this, and we’ll work from there. πŸ™‚

    Take care,

    Shelby πŸ™‚

    Hey Ryan,

After some more investigation, I realized that this is related to a bug that was recently documented in our system. Β I’m going to go ahead and associate this thread with the bug report so that you’ll get updates as we make progress on this one. Just some background info, this fix is currently marked as “complete” meaning that it should be included in one of the next few releases, so long as it passes the necessary testing. πŸ™‚

Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you here!

    Hi Henry,

Great question, and I’m happy to give an answer! πŸ™‚

The easiest way to do this would simply be to create accounts for your customers, and then require login for purchasing (as described in the knowledgebase article here under “Login Requirements”).

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you on this! πŸ™‚

    Hi there!

Great question. πŸ™‚ I’m happy to help out!

So, the currency portion is controlled by WooCommerce functionality, we just tap into it. With that said, you might be able to give functionality to switch currencies using one of the following plugins:

Hopefully that helps clarify some things and point you in the right direction for a solution! Let me know if there’s anything further I can do to help. πŸ™‚

    Hi there Taylor,

Thanks for reaching out, I’m happy to help! πŸ™‚

Can you let me know where you got that extension, as I’m not aware of that existing in our suite of products, unless a new extension slipped past me?

Let me know so I can help out here!

    Hi there Grant,

Thanks for reaching out, I’ll be responding to your questions inline so as not to skip anything:

    1) How do I set up a login profile for our hand full of organizers to set up their events and not leave login access to the public? I have seen alot on the community slug, but nothing on how to make this a private access to a handful of organisers in the know.

You can assign each organizer a user login in WordPress and then require users to be logged in to submit events by disabling anonymous submissions. (More details in this knowledgebase article here under “General”) I’d then suggest just giving the event submission page url to your organizers via email. πŸ™‚

    2) Am I able to have these independent events of the organisers who are based in different cities to be embedded on different pages for the different geographical areas?

For this, I’d recommend using our shortcodes (example below). You can embed these in any page:
    <p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>[tribe_events_list organizer=”organizer-slug”]
    3) Payment portals – I need to set up different portals for each area as the events are based everywhere from Europe to Africa. Is this easy enough to set up these independent gateways with the event plugins?

The payment portals will depend on what e-commerce plugin you’re using. The most popular by far is WooCommerce, and you can see their payment gateways listed here.Β

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns that I can help with here!

    Hey Ryan,

    Thanks for clarifying! πŸ™‚

I think I know what may be going on! Can you check out the “Event Authority” setting (shown in this documentation under “Editing Events”), Β which you can find underΒ Events β†’ Settingsβ†’ Imports ?Β

You may need to switch to the “Do not re-import events”

Let me know how that goes!

    Hi again Antonio,

I totally understand the frustration, but unfortunately, these kinds of issues are usually related to the installed theme, and our support policies require users to go through the conflict testing I sent over.

I’ll be unable to determine the source of the issue if you’re not willing to perform the conflict testing, and if I can’t identify the issue, I can’t solve the problem, especially because this is an uncommon problem to have.

Please perform the conflict testing (perhaps in a separate, identical, development environment?) and get back to me with the results. πŸ™‚

    Hey there,

    Hey there Ryan,

    So sorry you’re having trouble!

This guide here should tell you what you need to know about managing your orders and attendees on our end, you may have to seek out information about WooCommerce as well though. Let me know if this gets you any further, and if not we can dig into it more together!

    Cheers,

    Shelby πŸ™‚
