    Hi there,

    Changing ticket ownership
I’ve had a user who has previous order on our site. They purchased more tickets from my site, but made a typo when entering their email address. This registered them as a second user.

I’ve moved all order data over to their original/first user name, however when we log in to their account and view the event page, or at http://www.ourwebsite.com/eventname/tickets, we can only see the tickets from their first order, not the new order. How can we make these tickets we have moved over from the second user account visible here?

If there is not a fix for this immediately, would it be okay to please tell me which part of the database I should edit in the meantime?

    Cancelled orders
The user has a ‘cancelled order’ for two tickets, which happened because they didn’t complete a checkout. When they go to the event page, it says “you have 4 tickets to this event”. This is because the plugin counts the tickets from their cancelled orders, plus their completed orders. They actually have only 2 valid tickets to the event.
They are also able to view these cancelled tickets. Is there a way I can make the plugin not count the cancelled orders/tickets, and make it clearer that the two cancelled tickets are, in fact, cancelled?

Can still check in cancelled ticket
As the above mentioned tickets are visible, when I scan the QR code from my logged in phone, I receive the message “the ticket… was checked in.” It seems as if these cancelled tickets can still be used.

Thanks for your help, and hope to hear from you soon.

    Hi Adam,

Thanks for reaching out, I’m going to respond below inline to each item so that I can be sure not to miss anything:

    Changing ticket ownership
The only officially supported way to change this, would be to cancel the initial order and to have the client re-order under their original account. We have more information about managing orders and attendees in this knowledgebase article here.

    Cancelled orders
I’d recommend checking out this section of our knowledgebase about incomplete orders and unissued tickets. You’ll have to manage the status of orders/tickets with WooCommerce and this doc gives you a bit more info about that.

Can still check in cancelled ticket
This is related to a bug that’s currently pending fix. I’m going to associate this thread with our internal bug ticket so that you’ll get updates as we make progress on a fix. I do know that it’s currently in development, so it should be repaired relatively soon. 🙂

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help on these fronts!

    Best,

    Shelby 🙂

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
