Hey team
Just purchased your biggest bundle..
What i need to achieve is a platform where our event organisers (not the public) are able to independently able to log in and set up their events.
1) How do I set up a login profile for our hand full of organizers to set up their events and not leave login access to the public? I have seen alot on the community slug, but nothing on how to make this a private access to a handful of organisers in the know.
2) Am I able to have these independent events of the organisers who are based in different cities to be embedded on different pages for the different geographical areas?
3) Payment portals – I need to set up different portals for each area as the events are based everywhere from Europe to Africa. Is this easy enough to set up these independent gateways with the event plugins?

Thanks for reaching out, I’ll be responding to your questions inline so as not to skip anything:
1) How do I set up a login profile for our hand full of organizers to set up their events and not leave login access to the public? I have seen alot on the community slug, but nothing on how to make this a private access to a handful of organisers in the know.
You can assign each organizer a user login in WordPress and then require users to be logged in to submit events by disabling anonymous submissions. (More details in this knowledgebase article here under “General”) I’d then suggest just giving the event submission page url to your organizers via email. 🙂
2) Am I able to have these independent events of the organisers who are based in different cities to be embedded on different pages for the different geographical areas?
For this, I’d recommend using our shortcodes (example below). You can embed these in any page:
<p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>[tribe_events_list organizer=”organizer-slug”]
3) Payment portals – I need to set up different portals for each area as the events are based everywhere from Europe to Africa. Is this easy enough to set up these independent gateways with the event plugins? The payment portals will depend on what e-commerce plugin you’re using. The most popular by far is WooCommerce, and you can see their payment gateways listed here.Â
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns that I can help with here!
Best,
Shelby 🙂

Just on the payment gateway front. So yes I am using woocommerce. But essentially there is the payment portal beyond woocommerce that facilitates credit card payments such as paypal etc. Am I able to implement for example: paypal for our US events, eventbrite for europe, payfast for african events, Doku for south east asia etc? Reason being is there is not one system that facilitates all these areas.
Thanks for the clarity…

Sorry for a bit of delay here. Let me help you while Shelby is out for some days.
Unfortunately, there is no built in option to accomplish what you are looking for. You can set up Split Payments, but those are only possible using a Paypal developer account.
To learn more about split payments refer to the following articles:

I hope that helps! Don’t hesitate to ask any other questions and I’d be happy to help.
Best,
