ParticipantHi Neil,
My apologies. That totally was my bad there. π Admittedly, you were one of the last in a long list of threads I took fairly late last night. Probably wasn’t totally with it at the time.
Anyway, with regards to the time delay, we don’t have support open on weekends, and we’ve had a massive influx of threads recently, so unfortunately, it has been taking a bit longer than normal, and we appreciate your patience.
My (failed) attempt to clarify your issue with the questions I asked, was in an effort to identify whether your thread is related to the open Event Aggregator bugs we have pending. On a second look at your original post, it seems that it is, and I will be associating this thread with said bug tickets so that you’ll be notified once we’ve made more headway. We’ve poured a lot of our development resources into attempting to fix these issues, but apparently they’re more complex than we first thought.
Thanks for hanging in there, and again I sincerely apologize for my lack of care in my initial response. We’re doing everything we can on this front, and we appreciate your patience!
Best,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi Casper,
Right now, you wouldn’t be able to list the individual times except in the additional field (as text.) You’d have to set the event to an “All day” event, and not specify times.
I know this isn’t the best solution/way to display it, but that’s the only way we currently have to consolidate these events into one as you describe.
If you need something more custom, you can try hiring a freelancer to help you out. We have a list/some recommendations on this page here. π
Let me know if you need anything else!

ParticipantHi Mary,
Unfortunately, that’s the best advice I can give you at this moment. I believe we stripped that out for performance probably, and it’s worth noting that APM (the plugin I referenced), is free.
Please let me know if you have any further questions!
Take care,

ParticipantOk Jessica,
So it’s definitely a conflict with your theme. We don’t officially support theme conflicts, but I think you may be able to resolve this by switching your style settings.
Could you try switching the setting atΒ “Events > Settings > Display > Default stylesheet used for events templates” to either of the other settings from what you currently have it set at? I think that making a switch might pick up on your theme styles a bit better and conflict a bit less. π
Let me know how that goes!

ParticipantHey Rodney,
I’m happy to help you out here!
Can you please take a look at your timezone settings in your WordPress dashboard and ensure that it is set correctly? Can you also reference our documentation here to see if any of it is helpful in your case?
Let me know how this goes and we’ll work from there!
Best,

ParticipantHey Annie,
Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help! In order to help, I would like to get some more information from you, if I can:
-First, if you could please test for conflicts by following this documentation? Let me know what you find. This will help me determine how deeply we need to look into the specific configuration of your site, or if this is a bug. π
-Can you send me a link to your site so I can see this firsthand? I can often be more helpful in giving solutions to problems I can interact with.
-Finally, can you send me a link to your previous thread so I can see what you’ve already worked through, and I won’t have to retrace those steps?
We’ll get this working for you, and you definitely shouldn’t be having these problems upon updating!
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Anthony,
I’d love to help Β you out here!
This is pretty strange. Can you send me a link to an example event on the site you’re referencing with this so that I can give you some CSS to implement to hide it while we sort out a better way to resolve this?
Thanks,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi Rob,
Thanks for using our plugins and for reaching out!
Unfortunately, we’re not able to support compatibility of our plugins with other plugins outside of our suite on this forum (especially with the high thread counts we’ve been experiencing lately!) These forums are intended to answer questions about and provide support around the out of the box features of our plugins as they work with the latest version of WordPress, up to date default WordPress themes, and the rest of our own plugins.
We appreciate your understanding!

ParticipantHi Michelle,
There’s definitely a way to do this. You should see an option to merge duplicates by going to “wp-admin > Events > Settings > General tab >Β Duplicate Venues & Organizers” If you don’t see the option there, then let me know and there are some steps we can take. π
Thomas,
Please open your own thread. Your issues seem to be separate, from the topic Michelle is talking about, and we’d like to give them individual attention. And, by the way, they are issues that we’re in the process of solving.
Michelle, let me know how this goes!

ParticipantHi Sean,
Thanks for using our plugins, I’m happy to help and provide some clarification!
Unfortunately, at this time, it’s not a built in option to create an RSVP automatically for the organizer, but this change could be made with some customization. I recommend checking out the following resources if you’d like to try making these changes yourself or to find someone to help out with this:
TEC Settings Overview (To check out the available options in the plugin)
Themer’s Guide (Help for making the changes yourself)
Customization Guide (Help finding help with making custom changes)Best,

ParticipantHey there,
Thanks for posting, & Iβm happy to help. π
Unfortunately, this kind of request would requires some customization (which you’ve already started down that path, and done some great work – congrats!) We can’t provide support for these kinds of things on these forums. These forums are intended to troubleshoot issues and field bug reports with our plugins as configured with the latest version of WordPress, WordPress default themes, and our suite of plugins with their out of the box features.
However, we do have some resources for guidance in making some customizations here. If you need to find someone to help with the customizations, we also have some tips for finding help here.
Hope this helps, and thanks for understanding!

ParticipantHi Nick,
I’d love to help you out with this!
Could you possibly throw your development site up on a live environment (maybe on a sub-domain?) It would be REALLY helpful to be able to see this firsthand. Let me know, and I’d be happy to take a look!
Thanks,

ParticipantHey Casper,
I’m happy to help out here! Thanks for reaching out. π
I’d suggest creating one all day event and giving users the option to choose morning or evening using the additional fields functions of Events Calendar PRO. You can check out some in-depth information on utilizing this feature here in our knowledgebase.
Please let me know if you have any follow up questions or need more clarity on anything!
Best,
Shelby π
