ParticipantHello
I am creating reoccurring events on our website http://www.rivercc.org but I am having some trouble.
I am having the same problem as the person in this thread but I did not see a solution to their problem.
Recurring Events are showing the wrong times in the front-end.
I created the event called Group Leader Retreat.
Scheduled for 9/8/17 at 7pm and 9/9/17 at 8:30 am
The time is correct on the first instance, but the next occurrence shows the time off by four hours.
The strange thing is on the front end when I hover over, show all occurrences, the time is correct. When I actually click on the event, the time is wrong.
Thanks for your help.

ParticipantHey Rodney,
I’m happy to help you out here!
Can you please take a look at your timezone settings in your WordPress dashboard and ensure that it is set correctly? Can you also reference our documentation here to see if any of it is helpful in your case?
Let me know how this goes and we’ll work from there!
Best,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantMy timezone settings are correct and I followed the documentation on your website. I am still receiving the error.
What else can I try?

ParticipantHi again Rodney,
Ok, next steps:
Because I’m unable to replicate this issue on my testing server, this seems that it may be a theme or plugin conflict. Would you please work through the steps here to test for a conflict? This will help me be able to better assist you. 🙂
Let me know what you find out & we’ll go from there!
Best,
Shelby 🙂August 15, 2017 at 11:30 am #1335647Rodney
ParticipantI was about to go through the steps to look for conflict but now I cannot create reoccurring events so I would not be able to confirm if there is a conflict.
I just updated to the newest version of Events calendar 4.5.1 and have this issue.
Thanks.

ParticipantMy new issue is the same as this post.
I have tried steps 1-3 but have not attempted #4 yet. Curious if the person’s issue was resolved without having to go to step #4. 1 – 3 did not resolve my issue.

ParticipantHi Rodney,
Please take step 4 and let me know if that resolves the issue, as this is the same advice I would now give you. 🙂
Let me know how that goes!
Best,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantI tried step 4 – deleted and reinstalled but can still not create reoccurring events.

ParticipantThe issues are growing. I cannot set a venue, change organizers, or add a reoccurring event.
I have changed theme to 2016, deactivated all plugins, and looked at the site in multiple browsers – I deleted and reinstalled the plug-in. No luck.

ParticipantHey Rodney,
Thanks for keeping me in the loop. 🙂
Because I’m unable to replicate this issue on my testing server, I really need you to work through the steps here to test for a conflict. You don’t need to create a recurring event to test, you’ll just need to change the settings as described, and see if you’re able to perform everything normally then. 🙂
Let me know what you find out & we’ll go from there!
Best,
Shelby 🙂August 22, 2017 at 9:20 am #1338551Rodney
ParticipantI found the plugin in conflict.
The conflict is with a plugin called Series Engine. I have version 2.2.4 which is the most recent version.
