Hello, First off, we love this plugin, thank you!

Everything is working great, but when you add recurring event of “ONCE” the Date is correct, but the Time is consistently off by 4 hours.

I will attach private reply with server settings.
Our site is behind a gate so we will paste server setting also after.
Please help! Trying to launch our site, thank you.

Good afternoon Dale and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the issue impacting your site when the
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

With that in mind, from what I can gather, this might be caused by a date format discrepancy.
    We apologize for the inconvenience.

More specifically, as you can see from your screenshot, this date follows the yyyy-mm-dd format (as opposed to m/dd/yyyy like what is set under Events -> Settings -> Display).

For now, the best solution would be to use the default yyyy-mm-dd format everywhere or at least under Events -> Settings -> Display.

I realize this is far from perfect, but it will buy you some time until the fix is released.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Hello,
I am sorry, But your email was not very clear: I attached 4 screenshots.
Which screenshot was showing the date incorrectly? And where should I
change the date format to yyyy-mm-dd
I also changed it in WordPress General Settings.

Just to be clear – the DAY works, the time is off by 4 hours.
    System info below, thank you.

    Good afternoon Dale,

    Thank you for writing back.

To clarify, take a look at

The event date on that screen is 5/27/2017. The once date is 2017-05-27.
The end date of the every day series is 5/29/2017.

As you can see, only the “once” date has the yyyy-mm-dd format.
That is because there is a glitch associated to the “once” rule which forces the use of exactly that format.

For now, the only solution is to make sure you adjust the date format to yyyy-mm-dd everywhere ( WordPress, Events -> Settings -> Display, the date pickers) if you are using the “once” rule.

If that still does not cut it, you might want to try to adjust the Timezone mode setting to
Use the local timezones for each event

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.
