Insert Page

I am using the https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-pages/
plugin to insert the description of the event (general page) in the event itself to save me copying and maintaining correct text.
However the general page is not included. When I use that plugin on another page (to insert a general page in that page) then it is working.
Why is it not working on an event page ?
(please do not refer me to the insert-pages creator, already asked them)

Unfortunately, we’re not able to support compatibility of our plugins with other plugins outside of our suite on this forum (especially with the high thread counts we’ve been experiencing lately!) These forums are intended to answer questions about and provide support around the out of the box features of our plugins as they work with the latest version of WordPress, up to date default WordPress themes, and the rest of our own plugins.
