MemberHi Severin,
You are welcome! You can rest assured that your URL won’t change automatically: the only way to update the URL (from community/add to community/[any_other_language]) is by manually changing your WordPress install language.
Let us know if you need anything else and have a great day!

Patricia

Thank you for reaching out to us!
You can change your wording from “Tickets left” to “Seats left” by adding the following snippet in the end of your theme’s functions.php file:

MemberHey Harry,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing, let me help you to solve it.
Did you try to login to Facebook using a different browser? If the issue persists, could you please go to Events > Settings > APIs tab and under Facebook check if you are already connected? If you are, please click on “Refresh your connection with Facebook” button to see if it changes anything.
If the issue persists after trying to refresh your connection, I would suggest you to click on “Disconnect” and after that reconnect to Facebook again.
I hope this helps! Let me know if the issue persists after following these steps and I’ll be happy to further investigate your case.

MemberHey Liz,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing, let me help you with the troubleshooting.
Can you please make sure that all of your plugins are up to date? Also, I would suggest you to use Chrome Developer Tools to spot any console errors in your site. Access the page where you are experiencing this issue (using Google Chrome) and press F12. After that click on the Console menu and send us a screenshot / let us know if you see any errors in there. You will find further information about Chrome Developer tools here.
If you see any errors in the console, I would suggest you to run a Conflicts Test by temporarily deactivating all of your plugins (except The Events Calendar) and changing your current active theme to another one like Twenty Seventeen and let us know if the issue persists after that.
I hope this helps! Let me know your test results and I’ll be happy to further investigate your case if necessary.

MemberHey Sebastian,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Answering your question, the URL change from community/add to community/hinzufuegen probably happened because you changed your WordPress language from English to German.
To confirm that, please access your Dashboard and head over to Settings → General. Scroll down until you find the “Site Language” option. If you want to immediately revert your URL back to community/add, select English from the dropdown menu and save your changes.
If you don’t want to change your site’s language, you can also setup a URL redirect in your server from /veranstaltungen/community/add to /veranstaltungen/community/hinzufuegen : this way if someone access the first link, it will be automatically redirected to the second one (avoiding the 404 error).
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else and I’ll be happy to assist!

Thanks for sending us further information on this! I’m sorry to know you are still experiencing this problem.
Can you please confirm that this is the section that disappears from your event submission page after a few secs? Can you please confirm that all of your plugins are up to date?

The Events Calendar and its add-ons adapt to use the same language used by your WordPress installation. It will default to English, unless you run WP in a different language. On your Dashboard, go to Settings → General. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says Site Language. Select your language from the dropdown and save your changes.
You will find additional information on how to change the language of your calendar here.
If you are using a plugin like WPML to create calendars with different languages in your site, please let me know and I’ll be happy to further investigate your case.

MemberHi Joseph,
Thanks for sharing with us your test results, I’m sorry to know that the plugin update didn’t help you to solve the problem!
To turn debugging on and log error messages but hide notices displayed on your site, please add the following lines in your wp-config.php file:
https://gist.github.com/nefeline/e044ce84747b1d61c297bf64b5ae790e
After that, please share with us any messages your find in debug.log while trying to edit recurring events. Don’t forget to disable WP_DEBUG after finishing this test.

MemberHey Sean,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
The Events Calendar can handle large numbers of events and work well even in very high traffic websites. However, it is important to understand that performance is dependent on many environmental factors that the plugin itself is often unable to manage automatically.
You will find further information about caching and performance optimization in the following article:
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else in the mean time and I’ll be happy to assist!

August 25, 2017 at 1:07 pm in reply to: Is the latest update of Events Calendar working for the most part? #1340474Patricia
MemberHey Kathy,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
We usually recommend our customers to keep their plugins up to date to avoid conflicts and have our latest features and fixes installed. We work hard to make our plugins broadly compatible. However, like all WordPress developers we cannot test with every plugin, theme, and server environment out there, and sometimes “conflicts” can occur.
I would suggest you to backup your site using a plugin like BackWPup or Duplicator and update your plugins after that. If for some reason you experience any issue after the plugin update, please reply to this thread and I’ll be happy to assist!
Regards,
Patricia
