Participanthello,
I’ve translated the events calendar to hebrew and set the language.
it seems to be functioning fine with one exception-
when going from one page to another – say, choosing a month – the translation is gone and turns back to english.
when I refresh the page – it returns to hebrew.what is causing this?
how do I prevent this?please note that I’ve already tried to disable other plugins and returning to default theme.
regards,
LeeAugust 28, 2017 at 10:15 am #1341227Patricia
MemberHey Lee,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing, let me help you with that!
The Events Calendar and its add-ons adapt to use the same language used by your WordPress installation. It will default to English, unless you run WP in a different language. On your Dashboard, go to Settings → General. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says Site Language. Select your language from the dropdown and save your changes.
You will find additional information on how to change the language of your calendar here.
If you are using a plugin like WPML to create calendars with different languages in your site, please let me know and I’ll be happy to further investigate your case.
Regards,
Patricia

ParticipantHello Patricia,
Thank you for replying.
my websites language is already set to hebrew.i’m not using any additional plug-ins for language settings, only translating the .po and mo. files for the relevant plugins.
for the rest of the plugins i’m using it works just fine, only with the events calendar there’s a problem for some reason.August 29, 2017 at 2:38 pm #1342071Patricia
MemberHi Lee,
I’ve just accessed your site to try to replicate the issue you are experiencing, but when I changed the month from August to September, it was correctly translated (I see both calendars in hebrew).
Can you please send us an example of the issue you are experiencing so we can further investigate?
Thanks!
Patricia
