ParticipantIf I go to edit a recurring event with the Pro plugin activated the tab becomes unresponsive and Chrome asks if i want to kill it. With the pro plugin disabled the editor works fine but I can only edit a single event.
I found another support topic for the same issue but the recommended fix (update the plugin) did not work in my case.
Hopefully there is a fix.

MemberHey Joseph,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing, let me help you with the troubleshooting!
As I can see from your system info you are running Events Calendar PRO version 4.4.13: please update it to version 4.4.16 and try to edit your recurring events after that.
If the issue persists after the plugin update, could you please temporarily deactivate all of your plugins (except Modern Tribe plugins) and change your theme to another one like Twenty Seventeen and let us know if the issue persists after that? You will find further information about our conflict test here.
Also, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share with us any messages you see while trying to edit recurring events. All WP_DEBUG messages will be stored in a debug.log file in /wp-content/debug.log.
Thanks!
Patricia

ParticipantThanks for your help, Patricia. I updated the Pro plugin but the edit page still acted the same. I then disabled all but Modern Tribe plugins and activated Twenty Seventeen, with the same result. I’m reluctant to enable the logging as this is a live site.

MemberHi Joseph,
Thanks for sharing with us your test results, I’m sorry to know that the plugin update didn’t help you to solve the problem!
To turn debugging on and log error messages but hide notices displayed on your site, please add the following lines in your wp-config.php file:
https://gist.github.com/nefeline/e044ce84747b1d61c297bf64b5ae790e
After that, please share with us any messages your find in debug.log while trying to edit recurring events. Don’t forget to disable WP_DEBUG after finishing this test.
Regards,
Patricia
