    Howdy Paula,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. Interesting question here…

We currently don’t have any options that might help you getting this report. Maybe this plugin can help you out: Product Sales Report for WooCommerce? It let’s you set time periods for the reports, this is not event start and end dates but it might help out.

I cannot think of a way to achieve this other than a custom query to list past events with tickets and show the total amount of ticket sales. This customization would be out of the support scope we can give in this forum, but if you are up to give it a try I can point you in the right direction.

Please let me know about it,

    Howdy Emy,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us.

I’ve just spend some minutes playing around trying to find a simple CSS approch to this, but I couldn’t nail a definitive solution. This of course does not mean it’s not possible, but surely something that will require a level of custom code we cannot support in this forum.

    Hey At,

Thanks for reaching out on this and sorry to hear about this issue! Also thanks for sending over the system info and the screenshots.

Searching the backlog for any related issues I found a recently log bug that seems to be affecting you. The report is about the tickets form not displaying in child pages. Can you try to make this page a top level one?

Please give it a try and let me know,
    Best,

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for reaching out and for you interest in using our plugins ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Do I need Events Calendar Pro for this to work?

No! You’ll need Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce. If you want to add tickets to events then you’ll need The Events Calendar as well.

    2. If I combine it with WooCommerce will their currency convertor plugin display the cost of the ticket (on the events details page) in whatever chosen currency?

I’m not sure about it as I never tried that extension personally, and it’s not easy to keep track on which of the Woo extension will work with our plugins. Take a look at this article by George reviewing this: Compatibility with WooCommerce Extensions.

Please let me know if you have any other doubts I cna help you with,

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about this issue!

I made a snippet a while back to add a button to export the recurrence series instead of the single events, I guess this is what you are looking for. Paste the snippet below in your theme (or child theme) functions.php file:

    https://gist.github.com/niconerd/3876598a70b521f87cc40ac0e0ec37f0

Access a recurrent single event details page and let me know if it works for you.

Thanks for following up Joanna, and sorry to hear about it ๐Ÿ™

Can you try to disable the additional field Region in the filter bar? I’m curious to see if that has any effect on the error. I can see the javacript error but I cannot track it down ๐Ÿ™ Also, if the same result comes up without the region field, can you try to disable the filter on by one to see if any of them is causing this?

Hopefully this will shed some light over the issue!

    Thanks,
    Nico

    John,

Thanks for following up! Maybe I wasn’t clear enough in my previous reply. I’ll try to clarify a bit:

Melbourne search results: 3 events which have ‘Melbourne’ in the title of the event.
Melbourne search + Event Category ‘Exclusive Events’: the same 3 events which are categorized as ‘Exclusive events’.
Melbourne search + Event Category ‘Meetings’: no events as none is categorized with the ‘Meetings’ term.

Events from the last two examples need to have the search term (in the title, content or excerpt) AND be categorized with the term. If events don’t comply with both parameters then they won’t show up. Does this makes sense?

The events from the meetings category won’t show up when you search for Sydney or Melbourne as this term is not present in the title, excerpt or content. Again, this is how default WordPress search query parameters work.

I suggested adding the search term to title, content or excerpt to confirm the above.

Please let me know about it,

    Thanks Nick,

I’ve made some test in my local install and I was able to import events from a subsite into the main site and vice versa. I used the URL to import but as the error message you get is ‘Unable to retrieve content from the provided URL’ maybe it’s worth trying to download the ics file and import via file upload instead of URL. Can you give that a try?

Also, when you get the URL error, Can you try to access the feed URL in a new browser window? Does the download of the ics fires as expected?

    Thanks for the patience!

Our dev Barry developed this snippet to get around the bug:

I’ve tried it locally and it should work for your case ๐Ÿ™‚

    Howdy Trudi,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll help you here…

What’s your setting for Auth URL in the Add-On APIs tab?

Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

Please let me know about it,

    Thanks for following up Freek!

Regarding the licenses, this is not an issue for providing support, but I still see one licenses for this user account. I guess maybe you made two different accounts for the licenses? Please follow up with the Facebook Events license key in a private reply (it was edited as it was in a public reply) so I can check on that.

Indeed the events will be shown in the ‘main calendar view’, but for them to display here: http://www.inqua-saccom.org/events/category/community-event-calendar/ , they should be have the category ‘Community Event Calendar’. If you set that category for the events they should also show up there.

So I should always link to the general Calendar?

Users usually link to the main calendar and use categories to create sub links for more specific subset of events.

Please let me know if this answers your question,

    Saludos,

    Hi there Dee,

Thanks for reaching out to us and for your interest in our products!

Let me say I’m not sure if this is possible, by default tickets added to events have a price or are free, there’s no other option. But tickets are regular WooCommerce products, and maybe chained products or product bundles might work for the case. Or maybe the user buys a ‘gift card’ (course card in this case) which enables to use a code to checkout unlimited amount of courses. Does this sound like a possible solution?

While we don’t have a trial period, you can go ahead and purchase the products for testing. If you decide they are not what you are looking for, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For more information take a look at our refund policy.

I guess the best in this cases is to purchase the products and give them a try, maybe there’s a Woo extension that helps as well.

Please let me know if this answers your question,
    Best,
    Nico
