    Hey Ilse,

    Thanks for following up!

We will probably create a page that is either password protected or only accessible by a direct link

Sounds like a good idea indeed!

Thanks for sending over system info and also for performing the tests!

I’ve tried to reproduce this in my local install with the same versions of the plugins and an additional field filter as well, but it’s working as expected for me. I don’t see any reports of any related issues in our backlog, so not sure what’s going on…

Can you try to re-download and re-install the filter bar plugin?

Please give that a try and let me know about it,

    Howdy Liat,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll help you here…

From what you describe I guess this might be a cache issue (generally not active when users are logged in). If your site (or the hosting platform) has any type of cache, can you try refreshing this?

If the above doesn’t work, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins. Also, it would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end.

    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Ilse,

Thanks for reaching out to us and for your interest in our plugins 🙂

Event Tickets adds RSVP registration to events. Per default the RSVP form is available to all users but with a code snippet you can just show it show it for logged in users. I’m not sure how you where planning to identify this select group of customers, Are them registered in the site?

Please let me know about it,

Let me say I’m not sure about the issue, so I’ll ask a couple of questions to see if I’m getting this correctly:

    Thanks for following up Nick!

Everything looks good as far as I can see. Maybe this bug was re-introduced at some point.

I’ll try to reproduce this on my local network, can you please indicate if there is any special step or setup I should follow?

    Thanks,
    Nico

Thanks for following up on this James!

I was taking a look at how your filters work and I guess that what’s happening here is that the tribe-events-photo-events div is getting reloaded completely. Could you try to just load the results in it but not the div itself?

As you say tribe_setup_isotope is not a function you can trigger, but I guess that if the tribe-events-photo-events div is not removed/added after the load then the risize approach might work.

Please let me know about it,

    Thanks for following up Kyle!

I got these events as a result of the import: https://cloudup.com/cu0FqsZc89J – I could verify the three of them are present in the ics feed you sent. Not sure why you are not seeing those in the Google Calendar, Can you check on that?

    Thanks for following up John!

I think the best would be to reach out to the theme authors and ask about this. Maybe they have some tips on how to configure their plugin with ours?

Do you have some tips for how to isolate why our theme is breaking the Events Calendar?

I would look for global settings for posts per page or similar. In fact you can try to change the default value for posts per page in WP-Admin > Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most, be sure that this value is the same as in the events settings.

    Hi Nick,

Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear about this issue!

I could find a bug report regarding this issue, it indicates the fix for this issue was shipped with version 4.1.1 of iCal Importer. Can you please follow up with your system information so I can check the plugin versions you are using?

Please let me know about it,
    Have a great weekend,

    Howdy James,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. Interesting issue, I’ll help you out!

On the top of my head I think that triggering a window re-size event on the facetwp-loaded event should work. Can you give that a try and let me know about it?

    Thanks for the info!

Think of recurring events as the same event spanning in different dates (or patterns).

If you setup it as 3 events, how a customer know that the course is on 3 days ?

If you set this up as 3 single events the user won’t have a clue about this. If you set this up as a recurring event it will show every instances in the calendar and also show a notice in the single event indicating this event is recurrent (https://cloudup.com/cjdQK9jtoMg), and when you hove this notice it will show up the recurrence description.

Also what is the difference between making a recurrent event by adding a new date and duplicating an event ?

Recurring events share the same information other than date. They are ‘connected’ if you edit the title for the main event it will be changed in all other instances. Also if you change the recurrence pattern or settings all the event series will be regenerated. If you work with a lot if single events this won’t be possible and in fact it will require a lot of manual work to update information or change dates.

Please let me know if you have any other doubts about this,
    Have a great weekend,
    Nico
