Facebook events do not show up…

Dear Tribe, dear all,

After importing a Facebook Event in my Community Calendar it does not show up in the list. However, if I click another event and click ”find out more”, they do however pop-up at the bottom of the page….. So my problem: if I click http://www.inqua-saccom.org/events/category/community-event-calendar/ and click ”show as list” the fb imported events do not show up.

I searched the forum but I don’t see a similar issue. Manual Events do show up. Can anybody help?

Let me say I’m not sure about the issue, so I’ll ask a couple of questions to see if I’m getting this correctly:

• I’m not seeing a Facebook Importer license for your account. How are you importing the events from facebook?
• This URL is pointing to an Event Category: http://www.inqua-saccom.org/events/category/community-event-calendar/ . Do you see the imported event in the main calendar: http://www.inqua-saccom.org/events/
• Do you see this event in the back-end?

Dear Nico,

That’s odd. I have a license. They’re real since I bought them 🙂 :

The Events Calendar: Facebook Events
Licence Key: f…..a
Valid Key! Expires on 2017-04-30

Also of the Community EC:
The Events Calendar: Community Events
Licence Key: a…..7
Valid Key! Expires on 2017-04-20

So then:

1) I’m just importing it in Events import ==> import settings ==> Organization and page usernames / IDs to fetch events from ==> in my case I fill in for example INQUAECR…..

2) I activate ”auto import from facebook”
The I go to Events import ==> facebook and there they are (only some in my case but the events are there).

Well ehhhhhh……. you stated ‘can you see them in http://www.inqua-saccom.org/events/ ?’, well, yes :-). And indeed not in http://www.inqua-saccom.org/events/category/community-event-calendar/, I always thought the general calendar popped up…… So that seems to be the problem…..

So I should always link to the general Calendar?

Regarding the licenses, this is not an issue for providing support, but I still see one licenses for this user account. I guess maybe you made two different accounts for the licenses? Please follow up with the Facebook Events license key in a private reply (it was edited as it was in a public reply) so I can check on that.

Indeed the events will be shown in the ‘main calendar view’, but for them to display here: http://www.inqua-saccom.org/events/category/community-event-calendar/ , they should be have the category ‘Community Event Calendar’. If you set that category for the events they should also show up there.

So I should always link to the general Calendar?

Users usually link to the main calendar and use categories to create sub links for more specific subset of events.
