    Hi there!

Thanks for stopping by to chat with us! 🙂 Good question–Filter Bar does support “City” as a possible filtering option, as well as other location-based filters such as state, country, and venue. You can read more about configuring Filter Bar with the filters of your choice on our Knowledgebase here.

If you’d like to hide certain cities from the city-based filter, this is something you’d likely need to achieve by way of customizations–our Themer’s Guide would be the place to go for more info on how to customize plugin templates for your purposes.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi there!

Thanks for getting in touch! Absolutely–our Community Events plugin is set up to do exactly what you’ve described here, and it contains all the features you’d need to manage your user-submitted events, including user roles and permissions, default statuses for submitted events, and more. You can read about the available global settings for Community Events in more detail here!

I hope that helps! Let me know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi there!

Thanks for getting in touch! Yes, this would certainly be the reason for the warning message you’re receiving–you’ll need to ensure that the version numbers for both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are identical to prevent code conflicts between the two! If you’re having trouble updating Events Calendar PRO to its latest version, check to ensure that your product license is still current, as expired premium licenses won’t allow you to receive plugin updates from the server.

I hope that helps! Please note that this forum is generally reserved for pre-sales inquiries, so any further questions will be better served with a post to our Events Calendar PRO forum. You’ll need to log in using an account with a current PRO license to make a post there.

Thanks, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do to assist! 🙂

    Hi there!

Thanks so much for stopping by–sorry to hear you’re running into some issues here! I’m afraid that we’re not able to assist with technical problems for our current users here on our pre-sales forum, but we’d be happy to assist you over on our WordPress.org forum or one of our premium forums (if you’re a current paid license holder)! Would you mind taking a moment to post your thread at one of the above locations so one of us can take a closer look?

I’d also encourage you to take a moment before reposting to run through our conflict testing steps on your site, just to ensure that there isn’t a plugin or theme conflict on your site that’s causing the issues you’re describing. This is generally the first step in any troubleshooting our team will perform with you, so it saves time if you can work through this process before reaching out to us!

Thanks again, and we hope to see you on the forums! 🙂

    Hi there!

Thanks so much for stopping by to pay us a visit–I’m so sorry to hear you’re running into trouble with The Events Calendar! I’m afraid we’re not properly equipped here on our pre-sales forum to assist with technical support questions, but we’d love to help you over on our WordPress.org forums, if you wouldn’t mind making a post over there! Please try to include as much specific information as you can when making your post, and we’ll take a look just as soon as we’re able. (A link to an affected page of your site would be a huge help, as well!)

Thank you, and we hope to see you there!

Of course! We don’t offer any limited trial/demo versions of our products per se, but we are happy to offer a 30-day full refund policy on any and all of our premium product offerings. You’re absolutely free to use our products as much as you’d like within that window (and take advantage of our dedicated support for any questions you might have) to make sure they’re a great fit for you!

Regarding your question before, I’m so sorry if I misunderstood–are you hoping to import private events from Eventbrite to display as public events on your calendar, rather than the other way around? If so, I’m happy to confirm that unlisted events on Eventbrite will still import just fine through Eventbrite Tickets! When creating your Eventbrite event, you can simply specify “Private page” under the Listing Privacy setting, and your event will be hidden from searches and only available on Eventbrite to those who have your event’s URL. Eventbrite Tickets accesses your user account directly for importing events and will gladly import any events it finds regardless of their privacy setting.

Is that closer to the information you were hoping for? Let me know if I can clarify anything or if you should have any other questions! 🙂 Thanks again!

We don’t support an output quite like you’ve described with any of our existing widget shortcodes in PRO, although you might find one of them works well for you depending on your preferences! Our Knowledgebase article here goes into more detail about our various shortcode offerings. Let me know if you should have any questions about any of these! 🙂

    Thank you!

    Hi there!

Thanks for getting in touch! While we don’t support this type of display with any out-of-the-box configuration options, this sounds like a perfect candidate for a custom page setup using our Themer’s Guide. You’ll find plenty of information there to get you started on modifying existing plugin templates or borrowing code to craft your own custom templates for just the info you’d like to display. Feel free to pay us a visit on the support forums if you should have any questions as you go–we’re not able to write the entirety of your custom code for you, but we’d certainly be glad to point you in the right direction for any issues that should come up!

I hope that helps! Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to assist! 🙂

    Hi there!

Thanks for getting in touch! You should be all set from here–your existing license has been extended for an additional year, and your key is the same as the one you’re currently using. That said, if you should encounter any issues, feel free to drop us an email, and we’ll be sure to take a look.

    Thanks for your support! 🙂

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to check out our plugins and get in touch! 🙂

Great question. You may want to consider reviewing your settings for Eventbrite imports and changing the default status for imported events to “Pending”, as seen here. This will allow you to review your imported events before assigning them a final status and publishing them. By changing the Visibility setting (located below Status in the upper-right pane when editing an event) for your members-only events to “Private” before publishing, your events will be visible on your calendar pages only to logged-in users.

Feel free to give this a try with a test event and see if it works for you! Let me know if you should have any other questions or if there’s anything else I can do to assist!

Sorry for the confusion here! Are you able to see the drop-down menu below the paragraphs of text on the page linked above? Once you select a topic from the menu (“Help accessing my account” will work for our purposes), the rest of the contact form should appear underneath for you to fill out.

That said, if you’re developing on a client site and are able to reach the client directly with work-related questions, you may find it quicker to simply request their account username and password in order to log in here! Logging in will grant you immediate access to our premium support forums, where you’ll be able to post your query and have one of our dedicated support staff help you out.

Let us know if you or your client should have any other questions! Thank you! 🙂

We don’t have a built-in option to change the ticket quantity field to a checkbox, but this is definitely something that should be possible via customization–our Themer’s Guide has all the info you should need to get started with customizing plugin templates! In particular, I’d check out the templates listed under tickets/rsvp.php and tickets.php (under your e-commerce platform of choice), as those are likely to contain the fields you’re after. Our support team over in the premium forums would also be more than willing to assist with pointing you in the right direction should you have any questions as you go!

I hope that helps! As always, let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with! 🙂

    Hi there!

Thanks for getting in touch–sorry to hear you’re having some trouble here! I’m afraid we’re not able to assist with technical support issues here in pre-sales, but we’d be happy to help you over on our WordPress.org forums (for free support) or our premium forums here (if you have an active license and are logged in to your account). If you wouldn’t mind creating a new post with the details of your issue, one of our support staff at either location would be glad to assist!

Thank you, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you!
