I just want to make sure, before buying the plugin, that we will be able to sort our events by category and by city before.

Filter Bar has a Category filter yes, but can we also add a City filter?

So as not to mix in the same list large cities like New York and Los Angeles with small towns, is it also possible to restrict the City filter to a list of 30 selected cities?

Thanks for stopping by to chat with us! 🙂 Good question–Filter Bar does support “City” as a possible filtering option, as well as other location-based filters such as state, country, and venue. You can read more about configuring Filter Bar with the filters of your choice on our Knowledgebase here.

If you’d like to hide certain cities from the city-based filter, this is something you’d likely need to achieve by way of customizations–our Themer’s Guide would be the place to go for more info on how to customize plugin templates for your purposes.
