GuestIs it possible, with the PRO version, of course, to group events by event category, define which order you’d like the categories/events to appear in, and have them output on a page in list view?
Example:
<p>Event Category Name</p>
- event name
- event name
- event name
<p>Event Category Name</p>
- event name
- event name
- event name
Thank you.

MemberHi there!
Thanks for getting in touch! While we don’t support this type of display with any out-of-the-box configuration options, this sounds like a perfect candidate for a custom page setup using our Themer’s Guide. You’ll find plenty of information there to get you started on modifying existing plugin templates or borrowing code to craft your own custom templates for just the info you’d like to display. Feel free to pay us a visit on the support forums if you should have any questions as you go–we’re not able to write the entirety of your custom code for you, but we’d certainly be glad to point you in the right direction for any issues that should come up!
I hope that helps! Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to assist! 🙂

GuestWhat if you assigned certain ones as featured? Could they, via a shortcode, show up first in a list?

MemberWe don’t support an output quite like you’ve described with any of our existing widget shortcodes in PRO, although you might find one of them works well for you depending on your preferences! Our Knowledgebase article here goes into more detail about our various shortcode offerings. Let me know if you should have any questions about any of these! 🙂
Thank you!

GuestCan the shortcodes filter by category? That might work.

MemberAbsolutely–I’d try experimenting with some different settings on the Events List shortcode, in that case! Perhaps something like [tribe_events_list tags=”featured”] or [tribe_events_list category=”featured”] might work well for your needs. (Of course, you’ll want to use whatever tag or category you have assigned to your featured events!)
I hope that helps to get you started! If you should have any questions as you go, you’re of course more than welcome to pay us a visit over in our PRO forum–our support team would be more than happy to point you in the right direction! 🙂
Thanks again!
