MemberHi there!
Thanks for getting in touch! Can you clarify whether you’re seeing this on our WP Shindig demo site or on your own site with the free version of The Events Calendar? If it’s your site that’s experiencing issues, you may want to ensure that you’re running the latest versions of our plugins and that you’ve gone through our conflict testing steps to eliminate any potential conflict issues.
If the above checks should fail to address your issue, would you mind making a post with more details over on our WordPress.org support forum? We’d be more than happy to take a closer look over there!
Thank you!

MemberHi there!
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
- If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
- If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product.
If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHi there!
Thanks so much for stopping by! We absolutely do support this feature via our Community Events plugin–you can pair Community Events with either of our calendar plugins and open up event submissions to as many or as few other users as you’d like, as well as set administrator options so user-submitted events are managed just how you like them. There’s a great introductory video on our product page if you’d like a brief rundown of the product’s functionality, and our Knowledgebase articles linked further down go into more detail on setup and features. Give it a look over and let me know if you should come away with any questions! 🙂
For highlighting just a handful of dates without the overkill of displaying a calendar full of empty months, perhaps switching your default calendar view to list view would be a good solution? This would display in list format only the dates that have events scheduled, so your users won’t need to do a lot of clicking to get to the next event. You can specify this setting (and many others) in the Events > Settings page of your WordPress admin.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberGood question! We don’t have any support for this feature directly, but you could definitely build something like this using either a custom template (with help from our Themer’s Guide, and perhaps some suggestions from the support team) or one of the event widgets that comes built into Events Calendar PRO. In particular, the PRO version of the Events List widget might be a good fit–you can set it to display 1 or more events from, say, a “Featured” category of your creation, configure it to list as many details as you’d like, and place it into your page via a widgetized area or shortcode.
Do either of those suggestions sound like they might work for you? Let me know! 🙂 Thanks!

MemberHi there!
Thanks for getting in touch! The easiest way to ensure that your calendar events are totally identical would be to export your events from one calendar via WordPress at regular intervals and import them manually into the other. This method would just use WordPress’s own built-in import and export tools, so it requires no additional plugins and has very predictable results, if you don’t mind the manual input method!
If you’d like to explore a potential setup that’s a bit more automated, you might consider pairing our iCal Importer add-on (on both sites) with a master Google Calendar that would be updated with the events for both calendars. In this scenario, it’d simply be a matter of updating the Google Calendar as needed and setting recurring imports for that calendar on both of your sites.
I hope that helps to give you some ideas! 🙂 Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to assist!

MemberHi there!
Thanks so much for your interest in our products! Our attendee information fields in Event Tickets Plus are completely customizable, and you can add as many as you’d like to a given fieldset, so they’d likely be a great option for what you’re describing here. Fieldsets you create can even be saved and reused as templates for future events, which can be a real time-saver if you find yourself requesting the same details for multiple shows!
Our ticketing system’s payment processing is powered by the e-commerce platform of your choosing, so we don’t support features such as optional add-ons directly–these are handled through the e-commerce platforms themselves. WooCommerce is a popular choice and has massive support for features such as these through first-party and third-party add-ons. Perhaps something like this plugin might be a good option for your needs?
I hope that helps! Let me know if you should have any other questions! 🙂

MemberOf course! If you’d like to trim down your calendar event titles to, say, only display the amount of text that will fit on one line, you can use CSS to target those elements and apply your own custom styling–the #tribe-events-content .tribe-events-tooltip h4 element should be the one you’re looking for! Any CSS you’d like to apply to your pages can be simply added into your theme’s style.css file. 🙂
Hopefully that helps to get you started in the right direction! Let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi there!
Thanks for getting in touch! We have a snippet for adding into your theme’s functions.php file that will change the default month for all of your calendar views to a specific month–perhaps this would work well for your needs? Let me know if you should have any questions about how to use snippets with Events Calendar PRO!
I hope that helps–let me know if there’s anything else I can do to assist! 🙂

MemberHi there!
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our products! 🙂 Great question–for sales powered by Eventbrite Tickets, the initial ticket selection form will be embedded on a single event page, and clicking the “Register” button on that form will redirect the user to Eventbrite to complete their transaction. You can see a live demo of this functionality here on our WP Shindig demo site!
For Event Tickets Plus, we absolutely do offer the option to add as many additional fields as you like for gathering attendee information. User registration data can be exported in several different formats, which you can read more about on our Knowledgebase here.
I hope that helps! Let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Preston,
I’ve forwarded our conversation on to a senior member of our support team in order to assist you further with this! As your inquiry is somewhat of a separate nature from pre-sales, I’d like to keep our future correspondence outside of this forum thread, but please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via our email form if you should have any other questions or concerns. You’ll need to select “Hire Modern Tribe for a project” from the drop-down menu provided in order to access the email form fields.
Thanks again for your interest, and we look forward to speaking with you soon!

MemberHi again! It looks like you’ve marked a correct answer for this thread, which I’m taking to mean that you’re all set now! I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out to keep things moving along, but please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if there’s anything else we can do to assist! 🙂 Thank you!
Caroline
MemberThanks for following up! We’re happy to schedule pre-sales calls for our enterprise-level customers (e.g. unlimited licensing of our complete product suite). If this fits the intended scope of your project, let us know, and we’ll connect to discuss further details.
Thank you!
Caroline
MemberNo worries; it happens! 😉 We can certainly take care of that for you! If you’d like to shoot us a quick refund request over here with your order number and a few details, I’ll go ahead and get that return processed for you so you can grab the bundle!
And yes, you are absolutely correct–all the added functionality of PRO will carry over to Community Events, so users can create events using nearly all of the same options as administrators.
I hope that helps! Let me know if you should have any other questions!
