MemberHi Navin,
- Our free version of The Events Calendar contains all of the functionality needed for basic calendar displays, and it should meet the needs of most users who simply want a quick and powerful calendar solution. An upgrade to Events Calendar PRO may be worth considering if you need support for recurring events, additional calendar views such as week or location-based map views, calendar widgets, or shortcodes, among other features. The product page for Events Calendar PRO linked here provides a brief feature comparison and more details on PRO’s added functionality, which may help you to determine which calendar is appropriate for your setup!
- We do offer Event Aggregator as a separate purchase, starting at $89 for one year of product updates, premium support, and up to 100 imports per day. Event Aggregator is also included in our Importer Bundle along with Events Calendar PRO and Filter Bar–this popular bundle is a great option for those who need multiple plugins from us and would like to enjoy a substantial savings on the group.
Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions! 🙂

MemberHi Kathy,
Thanks for reaching out! If you’re looking for a plugin to facilitate the management of user-submitted events (including tools to approve and moderate submissions), Community Events should be a perfect fit for your needs. It’s compatible with both the free version of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, so you’re free to pair it with the calendar of your choice that provides exactly the features you need. I’d be glad to answer any other questions you might have about Community Events or either of our calendar offerings! 🙂

MemberHi Richard,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m afraid that we don’t support OData import for bringing in events at this time. However, if you’re able to export from Altru to CSV format, this file format can be used to import events, venues, organizers, or tickets (if the Event Tickets plugin is installed on your site). Perhaps this might be an acceptable compromise depending on your needs?
If you’re interested in seeing OData import functionality brought to our product line, you might consider submitting a feature request to our UserVoice forum–we’d love to begin a conversation with you there!
Thanks, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Navin,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out–we’re thrilled that you’re considering a move to Events Calendar PRO! I’d be more than glad to assist you with your pre-sales questions here!
- You can definitely continue to use Google Calendar as your main source for events while still displaying events on your site with The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO. Our event importing tool, Event Aggregator, works beautifully with either of our calendar offerings to import events from Google Calendar (or other sources). Simply set a scheduled import to repeat at whatever interval you’d like, and Event Aggregator will automatically import your Google Calendar events for you. You can read more about how imports work with Event Aggregator here!
- Yes, all of our plugins are fully responsive straight out of the box–no custom CSS needed.
- We provide detailed documentation in our Knowledgebase that covers everything you should need to get up and running quickly! Our New User Primers are a great place to start and easily walk you through each step of the process, from purchase to installation to configuration to product usage. If you should run into any issues along the way, our premium support team here in the forums are on hand to assist with any specific questions you might have.
Does that help to address some of your concerns here? Let us know if you should have any other questions–and thanks again for stopping by!

MemberHi Christopher,
Thanks for your interest in Event Aggregator! Absolutely–our entry-level version of Event Aggregator supports up to 100 imports per day from any combination of sources, including multiple Google Calendars, Facebook pages, CSV files, and more. I’d suggest picking up a license and running a few test imports if you’re not sure whether it’ll work for your needs. If you should find that it’s not a great fit for your site, we’ll be glad to process a full refund for your purchase price within 30 days.
I hope that helps to answer your question! Thanks again for stopping by, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you!

MemberHi Simone,
Thanks for getting in touch! We don’t offer any demo or trial versions of our products at this time–rather than rely on restrictive methods such as feature-limited trial downloads, we’ve chosen to instead provide a full 30-day refund policy for all of our plugins. Feel free to deploy the full versions of our products on your site and test the complete range of features at your disposal! Should you encounter any issues, you’ll have access to our premium support services (as you have for previous purchases with us), and we’ll be glad to process a refund for any reason within your 30-day trial should you decide Community Tickets isn’t right for you.
I hope that helps! Thanks again for your interest, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Peter,
Unfortunately, our plugins are designed to be installed and populated on existing WordPress sites (powered by the WordPress CMS from WordPress.org, not hosted on WordPress.com), and we’re unable to provide hosting or setup services for our products. If you’re looking for a quick solution to setting up a WordPress-based site, I’d suggest a web host that provides “one-click install” functionality–this will allow you to quickly deploy a WordPress site onto which any of our plugins can be installed. Our third-party developers may be able to provide recommendations, as well, should you choose to make use of their services!
Does that help to provide a bit more clarity on what’s needed here? Let me know if I can answer any other questions for you! 🙂 Thanks again!

MemberHi Peter,
Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out! It sounds like you’ve got ambitious plans here, and we’re thrilled to hear that you’re considering our products for your site! 🙂
Our agency at Modern Tribe takes on a wide variety of design and development projects for Fortune 500, government, higher education institutions, and well-funded startups. We have a project minimum of 20K USD and would be happy to put you in touch with our sales team. For smaller projects, we maintain a list of third-party developers who might be able to help out with your site.
I’m afraid that we don’t offer hosting solutions for our products at this time–that said, any web host that supports PHP and MySQL should be sufficient to run WordPress and set up your calendar. If you’re anticipating significant traffic on the events portion of your site, you may wish to consider a provider that specializes in high-volume WordPress-based sites. As WordPress is an extremely popular CMS, there are quite a number of options available to choose from!
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again for checking us out, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Kim,
Thanks for stopping by–we’re thrilled to hear that you’re considering our plugins for your site remake! 🙂
It sounds like what you’re hoping to do with a calendar setup should be easily achieved using the tools available in Events Calendar PRO. Our recurring event functionality is great for events like yours that repeat on given days of the week, and you can set date ranges so repeating events will terminate at a specified point (such as the end of the season). You can read more about recurring events and how they work on our Knowledgebase here!
Since widgets occupy a given content area that’s usually the same from page to page, they’re great for providing a quick look at the upcoming week or month–you can easily highlight the next few scheduled events and have that information easily accessible on any site page. For areas where you need to show upcoming events filtered by category, I’d suggest taking a look at our various shortcode options, which can be added to any page or post on your site and tailored to your preferences.
I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!
