GuestUnder the Event Aggregator, you say that it is an add-on for the free version of The Events Calendar. This implies it does not work with the Pro version. Is this because this capability is already baked-into Pro or are they simply incompatible? I have a theatre client with 300 events a year who lives in Google Calendar. We really want both Pro and Aggregator features.
Thanks, Bill.

MemberHi Bill,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m so sorry for the confusion here–please rest assured that Event Aggregator will work just fine with either The Events Calendar or our premium offering Events Calendar PRO! Since the features of PRO simply expand upon the core functionality of The Events Calendar, both plugins must be installed and activated at the same time for PRO to work properly. As such, any functionality that is built into The Events Calendar will operate in the same fashion when PRO is activated. As long as you have an active license of Event Aggregator running with The Events Calendar, your imports should run just fine regardless of whether you’re using our free plugin or Events Calendar PRO. 🙂
I hope that helps to clarify things a bit here! Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention–I’ll be sure to pass your feedback along, and we’ll see if we can’t amend our language to make this point clearer to our readers. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!
