MemberHi Emma,
Thanks for reaching out! You’re correct that this theme appears to use the PRO version of our calendar plugin, as the embedding of full-page calendars is not supported by our free plugin. If Events Calendar PRO was not included in the plugin files packaged with your theme, you’ll need to purchase a license to obtain the most recent version from us. Let me know if you should have any questions about how to place an order with us or install our plugins on your site–I’d be glad to assist!
Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if I can help in any other way! 🙂

MemberHi Peter,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! No worries–your usage of personal licenses between staging/development and live versions of the same sites is 100% kosher and supported by our licensing. That said, license activations are subject to certain restrictions depending on how your dev site URLs are structured. You can read a bit more about sharing licenses between dev and live sites on our Knowledgebase here, including details on restrictions and how to work within them while keeping your sites updated. I hope you’ll find it helpful in setting things up for your separate environments!
Thanks again for reaching out, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Bill,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m so sorry for the confusion here–please rest assured that Event Aggregator will work just fine with either The Events Calendar or our premium offering Events Calendar PRO! Since the features of PRO simply expand upon the core functionality of The Events Calendar, both plugins must be installed and activated at the same time for PRO to work properly. As such, any functionality that is built into The Events Calendar will operate in the same fashion when PRO is activated. As long as you have an active license of Event Aggregator running with The Events Calendar, your imports should run just fine regardless of whether you’re using our free plugin or Events Calendar PRO. 🙂
I hope that helps to clarify things a bit here! Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention–I’ll be sure to pass your feedback along, and we’ll see if we can’t amend our language to make this point clearer to our readers. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Jenn,
Thanks for getting in touch! Events can be exported from both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO in ICS format, a standard calendar format that can be imported into most calendar applications (such as iCal and Google Calendar). You can read more about how to export events on our Knowledgebase here.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else I can assist with!

MemberHi Shivani,
Thanks for getting in touch! This type of multi-calendar display is absolutely possible and can be achieved with either The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO, depending on your preferences! For a simple way to display your events on separate calendar pages, event categories are supported by both versions of The Events Calendar, and categories each have their own separate calendar view. By assigning events at different locations to different event categories, you can then link to those category listings to display their separate calendars. You can see an example of a category calendar view on our WP Shindig demo site here!
If you’d prefer to embed your calendar views into existing WordPress pages or need more fine-grained control over your calendar’s output, you might consider the full calendar shortcode functionality that’s available in Events Calendar PRO. Our Knowledgebase article here goes into more detail on the shortcode and how it can be used to create custom calendars and embed them on posts or pages of your choosing.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks so much for your interest, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Megan,
Thanks so much for getting in touch! This type of functionality should be possible through the use of Event Tickets Plus and a payment processor of your choice. By simply creating a new order for the designated ticket in your payment processor, you can enter all relevant attendee information into the database, and this information will be accessible later for management/book-keeping purposes. Once the order is marked as “Complete”, a confirmation email should be dispatched to the email address provided for that attendee.
Does this sound like it might work for your needs? Let me know if you should have any other questions about Event Tickets Plus and how it might work for your project! 🙂 Thanks again for stopping by!

MemberHi Fiona,
Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! This was, indeed, a known issue that has since been addressed in our latest maintenance release (The Events Calendar 4.3.4). Please ensure that your plugins are fully up-to-date with us, and try your import again–if you should continue to experience issues, let us know over on our WordPress.org support forums.
Thank you!

MemberHi Gav,
Thanks so much for your interest in our products! It sounds like Event Tickets Plus might be an appropriate fit for your client’s use case–tickets for booking training sessions can be created and attached to any post, page, or event, and the Attendee Information functionality would allow for the collection of registration data at time of purchase. Payment for tickets created in Event Tickets Plus can be processed through your choice of several payment processors, including WooCommerce, so ticketing should integrate beautifully with your existing record-keeping in WordPress.
I’d be glad to answer any other questions you might have about Event Tickets Plus and its features, or you’re more than welcome to give it a try yourself! Should you give Event Tickets Plus a try and find that it’s not an ideal fit for your needs, you’ll be covered under our 30-day refund policy–simply complete the form on our policy page, and we’ll take care of the rest.
I hope that information helps to get you started! Thanks again for reaching out, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Linda,
Thanks so much for your interest in Events Calendar PRO! You shouldn’t ever experience any data loss or other setbacks from upgrading one of our plugins or moving from a free to a premium product. Your events and plugin settings are all stored safely in your WordPress database, and adding or removing plugins won’t disrupt this data. (In addition, Events Calendar PRO runs alongside the core plugin The Events Calendar to build upon its functionality, so you won’t even need to uninstall your existing plugins.) Feel free to purchase without fear–and know that we’re here over in the support forums should you have any questions or concerns along the way! 🙂
I hope that helps to set your mind at ease! Thanks again for stopping by, and don’t hesitate to follow up if there’s anything else we can assist with!
