MemberHi Jenn,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! It sounds like a combination of The Events Calendar (or Events Calendar PRO) and Community Events might be just the ticket for your intended setup! Either calendar plugin will provide the basic events functionality you need, while Community Events adds support for user-submitted events to either product. I’d suggest taking a look at the linked product pages for all three offerings to compare features and learn more about how our plugins work!
Regarding your site’s layout and navigation with The Events Calendar, you’ll find that our plugins are thoughtfully designed and will integrate into most WordPress themes without any extra setup. Whatever navigation scheme you have for the rest of your site should carry over seamlessly to your calendar pages. That said, we also offer robust templating support for our plugins with the use of our Themer’s Guide, should you find a need for it! 🙂
I hope that helps to get you started with some ideas for your site! Let me know if you should have any other questions or if I can clarify anything further for you. Thanks again for stopping by, and happy shopping!

MemberHi Roy,
Thanks so much for your purchase with us, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! I’m pleased to report that your purchase of iCal Importer has also granted you a free license for Event Aggregator–you can find your EA license by simply logging into your account with us and checking the License Keys page for your account. Our New User Primer should be helpful to you as you’re getting things set up; please give it a look over, and don’t hesitate to follow up with us if you should have any questions. 🙂

MemberHi Shawn,
If you’re looking to modify the content of emails that are sent when a new event is submitted, I’d suggest taking a look at our Themer’s Guide! You’ll find information there on our templating system and how to duplicate and modify templates to customize the look & feel of our plugins. The template listed at community/email-template.php should be the right fit for what you’re looking to do here. Give it a look over and let us know if you should have any questions–while support staff aren’t able to write code for you in these cases, we can certainly provide guidance and suggestions wherever possible to get you on the right track! 🙂
I hope that’s enough information to get you started here! Let me know if you should have any other questions, and thanks again for stopping by!

MemberHi Don,
We do have a number of fixes for Event Aggregator slated for our next maintenance release, though I’m afraid we’re unable to provide an ETA for that release at present. If you’d like to downgrade to an earlier version, you can access downloads for previous versions of our plugins from your account’s Downloads page.
Again, I’m so sorry for the trouble–we appreciate your patience for the time being! As many issues can appear alike even on very different site configurations, it’s possible that we may be able to provide a solution to your specific problem. We hope you’ll consider reaching out to us on our Event Aggregator forums if you haven’t already!
Thanks, and we hope to see you there!

MemberHi Don,
Oh no–I’m so sorry to hear you’re having some trouble here! Unfortunately, we’re not able to take a closer look here in pre-sales, but our team members over in premium support would be more than glad to assist. Would you mind logging into your account with us and creating a new thread over in our Event Aggregator forum section? Someone will be right over to answer the call! 😉
Thank you, and we’ll see you there!

MemberHi Shawn,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’d be happy to assist you with your questions here! 🙂
- While all fields are displayed by default on the event submission form, only an event title and description are required to submit, so any unneeded fields can simply be hidden via CSS or template modifications. Our Themer’s Guide is a great starting place to refer to if you’re interested in delving into this type of customization!
- The Events Calendar makes no assumptions about “overlapping” events, so these aren’t prevented or warned about in any way. If you’d like to ensure that overlapping events aren’t submitted and published to the calendar without review, you can configure your Community Events settings to have all user-submitted events set to “draft” status by default. This will allow for an administrator to review events and check for issues before publishing them to the site calendar.
I hope that helps to address your concerns! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Will,
Thanks for stopping by to check out our products! We don’t offer direct integration with TicketSpice at this time, but our CSV import functionality may be useful to you when paired with TicketSpice’s exporting options! You can learn more about exporting to CSV from TicketSpice here, and our Knowledgebase has plenty of info on importing into Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus. Let me know if you should have any questions about our import tools and how they work! 🙂
I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Brandon,
Thanks for taking the time to follow up. I’ve gone ahead and refunded your order as requested, and I’ve reached out to you via email, as well. If you should have a moment to follow up, I’d love for us to continue our conversation there! Let us know if there’s anything else Cliff or I can do for you here.
Thank you!

MemberAh, thanks for clarifying a bit as to what you’re trying to do here! In that case, I’d simply add the text view=”list” to your tribe_events shortcode–this will trigger the embedded category view to display in list mode, which will show all future events regardless of month as in the example above. Let me know if this solves your issue! 🙂
Thank you!
Caroline
MemberHi Nick,
Thanks for getting in touch–and no worries, you’re asking in the right place! 😉 If you’re needing to achieve this effect for just one category at a time, it sounds like a category display in list view might fit the bill nicely! Adding /list to the end of any category URL will display all matching future events in list format, regardless of the current month. You can see an example of how this looks here on our WP Shindig demo site!
Does this seem like something that might work for what you’re trying to do here? Let me know what your thoughts are!

MemberNo worries at all–I’m just relieved to hear that things are working well now! 🙂 I’d suggest starting with our new user primer on our Knowledgebase to get you going with the features and functionality of Events Calendar PRO. (The rest of the Knowledgebase is a great resource to keep handy as you go!) If you should run into any issues along the way, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us here on the forums for further assistance!
Thanks, and happy calendar-ing! 😉

MemberHi Matt,
Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out–we’re thrilled that you’re interested in hearing more about our products! As we’re a distributed company and do not maintain dedicated lines for phone sales or support, we typically answer sales-related inquiries here in our Pre-Sales Forum. If your inquiry needs to be addressed privately, we’re happy to receive your contact via email, where we’ll be glad to address your questions or direct you elsewhere for further conversation as needed.
For enterprise-level buyers, we’d be glad to schedule a brief conversation to discuss our offerings in greater depth. Please use the email form above if you’d like to connect with one of our products team leaders regarding enterprise solutions.
I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again for your interest, and we look forward to speaking with you soon!

MemberHi there!
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
- If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
- If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product.
If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHi Bryan,
Thanks for getting in touch! It sounds like template modifications by way of our Themer’s Guide might be just the solution to your problem here! We’ve included a robust templating system with our plugins that allows users to modify plugin templates as needed to add, remove, or change the display of content across their sites. I’d suggest taking a look at the guide linked above for more information–a modification to the ticket email template should be all that’s needed to display whatever additional content you’d like.
I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again for your interest, and let me know if you should have any other questions!
