ParticipantHello,
I purchased EA in the hopes of automating a very long and tedious process but it has not worked at all for me and has in fact created more work.
One thing that has been misleading from the beginning is imports vs importing events.
If you have a FB page with 100 previously imported events and 3 new ones you will never get the 3 imported because you reached your limit with the previous 100 showing as imports.
Is there anyway to separate previously imported events so 100 makes sense? I am importing 0-20 new events per day but the FB pages I am linked to have several hundred events.

MemberHi Brandon.
I’m sorry Event Aggregator (EA) isn’t bringing you joy.
Facebook Importer is software that runs on your site so it should continue to function as-is for quite some time but won’t be receiving as much development attention now that it’s considered a legacy product.
Moving forward with EA, it’s 100 imports, not 100 imported events… unless you’re importing from 100 different Facebook URLs that each have just 1 event — then it’d be the same.
To be clear, if you import from 1 Facebook URL that has 300 events, that counts as 1 of your 100 daily imports.
Please provide additional details about your site and your EA settings if you don’t think this is what your site is experiencing.
Thank you.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I had a different understanding of the 100 imports, thanks for clarifying.
With that clarification, I must report that I am not getting this at all, almost all red exclamation points for me. Let me know what you need.

MemberPlease share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
And if it’s possible to give me the Facebook URLs you’re importing from, that might help too.
Make sure to send this information in a Private Reply.

ParticipantI’ve patiently waited to see how the scheduled import is working over the course of a week and i’m pretty much getting nothing but red exclamation points and rarely a successful import.
If i manually run the import it seems to work fine and import events.
Please let me know what you need from me, i’ll send my system info in a private text.

MemberNeil, please create your own separate thread and include this information. Additionally, please include screenshots of your wp-admin area to see how many imports you have running and whether the Facebook connection is active.
Brandon, we’ll continue helping you here since you created this thread. Would you please provide the same additional information I asked Neil for?
Go to wp-admin > Events > Help > bottom of the screen to see details about Event Aggregator and Facebook connection.
Thanks to you both.

MemberBrandon,
You initially said
If you have a FB page with 100 previously imported events and 3 new ones you will never get the 3 imported because you reached your limit with the previous 100 showing as imports.
And your latest screenshot shows, “13 imports used of 100 available today”.
Would our new increased import pricing levels solve the issue?
If no, please clarify, re-stating the issue so we can know what to focus on, specifically.
Thank you.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
Good question, I have no idea.
All I see is red exclamation points and I just import using the legacy anyway since I couldnt get EA to work.
Can I please get a refund for the Event Aggregator plugin?
Thanks

ParticipantHi Cliff,
Thank you for the suggestions but I just want the refund, this plugin is creating to much work for me and now it looks like it will cost me a lot more money.
I really want EA to work for me so I hope to revisit this plugin in the future.
