MemberHi Don,
Ah, thanks for clarifying the issue here! In this case, you’re right–we don’t yet have a solution in place for one-time imports of this type. However, we do offer a migration tool for bringing recurring imports and settings from Facebook Events into Event Aggregator, which you may find helpful in transitioning to our new format! You can read more about migrating with this tool on our Knowledgebase here.
That said, I’m sorry that I can’t offer a better solution for your multi-source imports at this time! If you should have a moment, we’d love to have you submit a feature request over on our UserVoice page for Event Aggregator. Our dev team would certainly be glad to consider any requested functionality for a future update!
Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Don,
Thanks for getting in touch! If you’re using Event Aggregator to import your events, you should be able to import multiple Facebook events at once much as you did before! Simply select “Facebook” as the Import Origin for your import, choose “One-Time Import” for Import Type, and enter the Facebook group or page URL in the “URL” field provided. After clicking “Preview”, you’ll be shown a list of events that are available to be imported, from which you can choose which specific events you’d like to bring in.
You can read more about importing and managing events with Event Aggregator on our Knowledgebase here! Feel free to give it a look over, and let us know if you should have any other questions–we’d be glad to assist!
Thank you! 🙂

MemberHi there!
Thanks for getting in touch! I’m sorry to hear that you encountered some issues with a previous version of Events Calendar PRO on your site–that’s certainly not the experience that we want our users to have! We’ve made plenty of strides since version 3.x to improve the stability and functionality of our plugins, and we’d be glad to have you again as one of our PRO users. While we don’t offer a demo version beyond our live demo site WP Shindig, we do offer a very generous 30-day refund policy on all of our products, including Events Calendar PRO. I’d encourage you to give PRO a try on your site, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to our premium support with any issues you might encounter as you’re putting it through its paces! If at any point you should decide it’s not quite right for you, let us know, and we’ll be happy to process a full refund for your purchase.
I hope that helps to address some of your concerns here–let me know if you should have any other questions about our products or policies! Thanks again for reaching out! 🙂

MemberHi there!
Thanks for your interest in our products! If you’re looking for a setup that will allow for one site to display different calendars on different site sections, I’d suggest taking a look at the category functionality that’s built into The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO! By assigning events for each franchise location to specific categories, you can link to a single category to display a calendar with only the events for that category on a page. Our WP Shindig demo site has categories assigned to its events so you can see how this works on a live site–here’s one example of a category-specific calendar.
Let me know if you should have any other questions about the features of The Events Calendar or how they might work with your intended setup–I’d be glad to assist! 🙂 Thanks again for stopping by!

MemberHi Philip,
Thanks for getting in touch! Great question–the ICS files that are exported from The Events Calendar are static files that can be imported into any application that supports them, but they do not establish a link between the two sites. That is to say, no syncing or other modification of events is supported by simply importing an ICS file. Does this answer your question? Let me know if I can clarify anything further! You can read more about our ICS export functionality here on our Knowledgebase.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else I can do to assist! 🙂

MemberHi there!
I’m so sorry to hear about the issues you’re having with Avada and our plugins–we’d certainly love to assist you here. Can you confirm which version of The Events Calendar you’re attempting to install on your site? Does this message occur when attempting an installation through the WordPress frontend, and if so, does the problem persist when uploading the plugin files via FTP? Any information you can provide would help us greatly in troubleshooting with you! You may also want to try temporarily disabling your other plugins as outlined in our conflict testing steps, in case another plugin may be causing issues with The Events Calendar.
Let us know what you’re able to find if you should give troubleshooting another go! If you’d prefer to simply have your purchase refunded, please use the form on our refund policy page to reach out to us, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Thank you!

MemberHi Jordan,
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble working with Event Tickets Plus–we certainly do want to help! Unfortunately, I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum! Would you mind taking a moment to log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for your product? One of our support staff there would be more than happy to take a closer look!
While you’re waiting, you might also consider having a look through our posts on managing attendees and collecting attendee information on our Knowledgebase. Depending on the exact issue you’re having, you just might find the answer you’re looking for among our existing documentation!
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHi Amelia,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! 🙂 It sounds like our Eventbrite Tickets plugin might be a solid fit for what you’re trying to accomplish here. Using Eventbrite Tickets with The Events Calendar or our premium offering Events Calendar PRO, you can link your WordPress site with Eventbrite to import events from Eventbrite, share events between both sites, and seamlessly redirect your WordPress site visitors to Eventbrite for ticket purchases. It’s got great support for a number of tightly-integrated features–I’d encourage you to take a look and see if it might fit the bill for your purposes!
Let me know if you should have any other questions about Eventbrite Tickets or how it might work for your project. I’d be glad to assist! Thanks again for stopping by!

MemberHi Vic,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’m sorry to hear you’ve run into issues with the CSV importer–we’d certainly like to take a closer look at what you’re experiencing to see what the problem might be. Would you be willing to share one of your CSV files with us so that we can run a few test imports on our end? If you aren’t comfortable sharing a link here on the forums, you can reach out to us via email (select “Help accessing my account” in the drop-down menu to access the email form).
Thanks, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Jason,
Thanks for getting in touch–and I apologize for the trouble here! It doesn’t look like we have any record of a nonprofit application being received from your domain, so it’s possible that your message simply failed to reach us! I’m so sorry for the inconvenience. If you wouldn’t mind reaching out to us once more with the details of your nonprofit, we’d love to give your application a good look over!
Regarding our nonprofit purchase discount and product bundles, our product bundles are already heavily discounted and can’t be reduced any further, unfortunately. (This is an unavoidable limitation of our shopping cart system, as well!) If you’re operating on a limited budget and don’t require the added functionality of Filter Bar, you might consider simply running Events Calendar PRO and purchasing a license of Event Aggregator with your 30% nonprofit discount–this will come out to just over $60, a significant savings compared to even a discounted Importer Bundle!
I hope that helps to answer your questions! Please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any others, and we do hope you’ll take that moment to resubmit your nonprofit application. We hope to hear from you soon! 🙂

MemberHi there!
Thanks for getting in touch! We do support imports from iCal URLs with iCal Importer, so files stored on Dropbox should work as long as the URL given is a direct link and publicly accessible. However, without testing your particular file(s) and setup, it’s difficult to make any guarantees. In this case, I’d encourage you to take advantage of our 30-day refund policy to test an import and see if it works as intended! Should you run into any issues along the way, we’d be glad to provide further support and troubleshooting.
I hope that helps! Thanks again for your interest, and let me know if you should have any other questions!
