ParticipantHello,
If I purchase the filter bar, does that allow me to filter what users will see indefinitely on each calendar instance? Or does it only allow users to make those selections?
I need to filter calendars by categories for more than one month at a time, preferably the entire calendar. I do not want users to have to filter it themselves. Could someone point me in the right directions?
I realize this question is only partially sales lol

MemberHi Nick,
Thanks for getting in touch–and no worries, you’re asking in the right place! 😉 If you’re needing to achieve this effect for just one category at a time, it sounds like a category display in list view might fit the bill nicely! Adding /list to the end of any category URL will display all matching future events in list format, regardless of the current month. You can see an example of how this looks here on our WP Shindig demo site!
Does this seem like something that might work for what you’re trying to do here? Let me know what your thoughts are!

ParticipantI’m actually trying to embed this into the another page. Is that not possible? I’d like to do it this way, rather than linking to the calendar’s page. I have done embedded it on a page using [tribe_events category=””] shortcode, but when you change months it shows every event, rather than just the defined category.

MemberAh, thanks for clarifying a bit as to what you’re trying to do here! In that case, I’d simply add the text view=”list” to your tribe_events shortcode–this will trigger the embedded category view to display in list mode, which will show all future events regardless of month as in the example above. Let me know if this solves your issue! 🙂
Thank you!
