MemberHi John,
Thanks for getting in touch! It sounds like your needs here should be covered entirely by new licensing for Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus! The Events Calendar is our free core plugin and can be updated to its latest version from WordPress.org at any time, and The Events Calendar Shortcode is a third-party add-on that is not developed by Modern Tribe. (If you should need to replace this third-party plugin, you might consider taking a look at our own shortcodes offered through Events Calendar PRO!)
Unfortunately, we don’t offer any bundles for Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus at this time (excluding the Ultimate Bundle, which is likely more than what your project requires). However, you may be able to reduce the cost of new licensing by upgrading the client’s existing PRO license rather than purchasing a new one–upgraded licenses save 30% compared to the cost of buying new. We’d be happy to assist with looking up the original account so that these licenses can be brought up to date. Feel free to reach out to us via email if you’d like some assistance here!
I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again for stopping by, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you!

MemberHi David,
Glad to hear that the upgrade process seems to be working well for you now! Great question–upgrades are priced based on the cost difference between your existing license and the license tier you’ve selected for your upgrade. An upgrade changes the type of your license, but it doesn’t renew or extend it, so you shouldn’t see any change in pricing regardless of when you choose to upgrade. Hopefully that helps to clarify things a bit! If something still doesn’t look right on your end, let us know and we’ll be happy to take a look.
Thank you!

MemberHi David,
Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! Occasionally this type of error can crop up when there are issues with your browser’s cache or cookies. Are you able to completely empty your browser’s cache and cookies, quit your browser, restart, and attempt your upgrade purchase again? Failing this, can you try the same upgrade process using another browser? Let me know if either one of these is able to resolve your issue! If not, we’ll be glad to assist further via email.
Thank you!

MemberHi Tom,
Thanks for getting in touch! Our event series functionality in Events Calendar PRO should work great for the situation you’ve described here. You can create multi-day event series with any type of recurrence pattern you’d like, including irregular patterns, multiple patterns, or no pattern at all (if you’d like to just select specific dates, as in your example). You can take a look at our Knowledgebase article linked above if you’d like to learn more about the various options available and how they work. If you should have any other questions, I’d be more than glad to answer them for you! 🙂
Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you!

MemberHi Nuria,
Thanks for reaching out! As our plugins are built specifically to work in WordPress environments, we don’t provide support for any type of alternative installation using third-party solutions. If you’d like to maintain a single WordPress install and have your calendar events display on other non-WordPress sites, I’d consider setting up a Google Calendar for creating and displaying your events on your non-WordPress sites, then importing those events to The Events Calendar using Event Aggregator. I’d be glad to answer any questions you might have about this setup or how it might work for you!
Thanks again for stopping by, and let me know if there’s anything else I can assist with! 🙂

MemberHi Joshua,
Thanks for getting in touch! Glad to hear that you’re considering our plugins–I’d be happy to answer your questions here! 🙂
- While we don’t offer a built-in method to add paid options to an existing ticket, you can achieve a similar effect by simply creating multiple ticket types per event, with various options included in each. Alternatively, if you’re using WooCommerce as an e-commerce solution for Event Tickets Plus, you can use a third-party plugin such as WooCommerce Extra Product Options to add options to your tickets, then adjust your settings so your tickets are sold directly through your WooCommerce product page. Hopefully one of these solutions might be a good fit for your site!
- Basic attendee information is required for ticket purchases and payment processing, but you can request more details as needed using our Attendee Information options. Our Knowledgebase article provides some more information on these options and how to create custom fields for your tickets.
Let us know if you should have any other questions, and thanks again for stopping by! 🙂

MemberHi Michele,
Thanks so much for stopping by–glad to hear that you’re considering our plugins for your site setup! I’d be more than glad to answer any questions you might have here!
- While we don’t offer built-in support for creating subscription-based calendars, this Knowledgebase article provides some information on how to set up a “members-only” calendar on your site. Paired with a third-party payment/subscription plugin, this could be a viable option for your intended setup! Your complete calendar will be viewable only on your website, although users will have the option of downloading events to their computers and importing them into their own calendar software.
- If you’d like to maintain separate calendars by year, you can use category functionality to achieve this easily while still keeping a “master” calendar for viewing all events. You can see an example of a category calendar view here on our demo site, WP Shindig. We don’t support calendar alerts such as email or SMS, but we do offer an RSS feed for calendar events so that users can subscribe using their reader or notification method of choice!
- As subscriptions would need to be handled by a third party, this would depend on the plugin you choose–we don’t include built-in support for subscription-based calendars at this time.
I hope this helps to get you started here! Let us know if you should have any other questions, and thanks again for stopping by!

MemberHi Meena,
I’m so sorry to hear that you’re still having issues here. Unfortunately, conflict testing of this nature remains the most effective way to troubleshoot WordPress plugin errors, and it’s a method used by quite a number of plugin developers due to its effectiveness! We do hope you’ll consider completing our tests during a period of low visitor activity (a number of plugins exist to place your site in maintenance mode while testing is underway) or setting up a staging environment for your site.
That said, should you prefer to simply downgrade instead, you always have the option of downloading previous versions of our plugins from your account. Our Knowledgebase article here provides more information on how to downgrade your software.
I hope that helps–thanks again, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you!

MemberHi there!
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
- If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
- If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product.
If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHi Meena,
Thanks for confirming! No worries about disabling any necessary plugins on your site–we request conflict testing from users as a temporary measure just to identify problems and isolate theme and/or plugin conflicts from bugs that occur independently of other code. If you’re hesitant to perform this testing on your live site, we highly recommend the use of a staging site for this (and in general)! It’s a great tool to have at your disposal and ensures that you’ll never have to worry about issues cropping up from plugin updates on your live site. You can learn more about staging sites and how to set one up here.
Let me know if you should have any other questions here! Once we’re able to get some testing underway, we can begin to move closer to locating a culprit–and a solution! 🙂 Thanks so much for your patience as we work to get things resolved for you here!

MemberHi Mike,
Thanks for following up with some more information! Just to clarify, do you mean the reCAPTCHA (enabled under Events > Settings > Community) was identified as the source of your layout issues? Does the problem persist when using a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Seventeen? If you’re able to temporarily re-enable the reCAPTCHA at any point, we’d love to take a closer look!
Thank you!

MemberHi Meena,
Thanks for following up with some more information here–very strange to hear that the multiple events button isn’t responding properly for you! Can you confirm whether or not you have any additional plugins set up that affect the display or functionality of your WordPress backend (rather than the user-facing portions of your site)? If you’re able to spare a few minutes for it, a round of conflict testing could potentially be a great help here. If disabling any one of your plugins is able to restore proper button functionality, that information would be very useful to our development team.
Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns!

MemberHi Russell,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to see that you’re having some issues with code rendering on your site here–that’s certainly not an ideal look, and we’d definitely be glad to assist with getting that problem nipped in the bud. 🙂
To get our troubleshooting kicked off here, would you be so kind as to take a moment to run through our conflict testing steps on your site? This will allow us to determine if the problem is originating with the plugin itself or if we’re seeing issues due to a conflict with another plugin or theme.
Let us know what you’re able to uncover, and we’ll see where we can go from there! Thank you!

MemberHi there,
Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m so sorry to hear that things are acting up for you here! We’d be more than happy to assist with getting things sorted and getting your site back up and running ASAP.
Since your 500 error woes began with the latest changes to your functions.php file, let’s start by looking there. These types of errors can often occur when a PHP error is introduced during editing, and it’s often something as simple as a typo or mistakenly-duplicated text. I’d open your functions.php file and check for the following common errors:
- Ensure that the text <?php is the first line of the document and is only used once
- In the same vein, ensure that ?> is the last line of the document and no code is placed after it
- Compare the snippet from your functions.php file to the one from the site and ensure that no semicolons or other characters were accidentally omitted
Let me know once you’ve verified these three points, and we’ll see where we can go from there! 🙂 Thank you!

MemberHi Meena,
Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry for the confusion here! We’ve made some changes with our latest release to the labeling and interface for recurring events in Events Calendar PRO, but you’ll find that all the same features (and more!) are still available to you in version 4.4. The new Event Series section contains all of our newly-renamed recurring events features–simply click the “Schedule multiple events” button to expand those tools, and you’ll be all set to start setting up your recurring events. You can read more about the latest changes here on our Knowledgebase, if you’re interested in learning more!
I hope that helps to clarify things a bit! As always, let us know if you should have any other questions, and thanks again for stopping by! 🙂
