Month Calendar View is Showing Code

The calendar month view seems to be not working correctly. When I mouse over a particular day it opens up and shows code for the event.

Here is an example:
/*
Campus Closed – Winter Break
December 16, 2016 – January 2, 2017

Campus is closed for winter break. Campus will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3.
/*>*//*

Then if I mouse over the day a second time it will duplicate the code. I am adding an image of this occurring.
