MemberHi there,
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m afraid that our plugins do not offer built-in support for the bulk of these travel-agent-oriented features and may not be well-suited for use on a site of this type. You may be able to achieve some of these requirements through some degree of custom development, but most of these would be likely require fairly intensive customizations, and our support team would be limited in our ability to support such heavy modifications.
I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news here! That said, we do appreciate your interest, and we hope we might have the opportunity to work with you on another project someday. Thanks again for reaching out, and let us know if there’s anything else that we can do for you!

MemberHi Alex,
Thanks for getting in touch–great question! While there’s no built-in settings toggle to add this display to a single event page, you can certainly customize your single event templates to display author information (or any other information you’d like). You can read more about template customizations for our plugins and how to get started with duplicating and modifying our plugin files on our Themer’s Guide! Feel free to give it a look over, and let us know if you should have any specific questions as you’re diving in!
Best of luck, and happy customizing! 🙂

MemberHi Patrick,
Thanks for getting in touch! While we do support the import of existing Facebook events into The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO (using our Event Aggregator import plugin), unfortunately, we don’t offer support for crossposting calendar events to Facebook at this time. For now, I’d suggest looking into one of the third-party Facebook crossposting plugins that supports custom post types, such as Facebook Auto Publish.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Terry,
Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like our [tribe_events] shortcode might be exactly what you’re looking for to display your client’s events on these pages. This shortcode will allow you to embed full calendar views into any existing page or post, and you can customize your shortcodes with various attributes to display only certain events, such as events matching a specific category or tag. You can read more about this shortcode and how to use it on your pages on our Knowledgebase here.
I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Frank,
Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry for the confusion here! The “10 sites” indicated for our Event Aggregator license types refers to the number of WordPress sites that each EA license can be activated on. There is no limit to the number of URLs that you can import from–you’re only limited by the number of import jobs that you can make in a single day, as specified by your license type. For example, the most basic Event Aggregator license tier allows for up to 100 imports per day, but these imports can come from any number of unique URLs, and there’s no limit to the number of events that can be brought in during a single import job.
I hope that helps to clarify things a bit! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Frank,
Thanks for reaching out–great question! While we don’t typically offer a la carte bundles of this type, I think that we might be able to work something out for your particular situation here. Would you be so kind as to reach out to us via email so that we can discuss the specifics further? You can select “Help accessing my account” from the drop-down menu to access the full email form.
Thanks again, and we’ll see you over in email! 🙂

MemberHi Alex,
Thanks for following up! Would you be so kind as to show us how you’ve set up an iCal feed to your Google Calendar that syncs your events from The Events Calendar? I must admit that now we’re a bit confused, as we don’t offer ICS feed functionality at this time–so we’re definitely curious as to how you might have achieved this on your end! 😉
Once we’ve gotten a look at how your current feed setup is configured, we can certainly do our best to suggest ways that you might adapt it to bring in all of your events.
Thank you!

MemberHi Ricci,
Thanks for following up here! I’d suggest having a separate event for each smaller event that occurs within this larger event. Multiple scheduled events will still show on the same day (or you can switch to list view rather than calendar view to display more content), and you can designate them all as part of a common larger event by specifying that event name in the title, description, or even the event category. There shouldn’t be any issues with scheduling multiple events on the same day and time, and our event descriptions do support rich text formatting, so you can use these to share presenter info, images, links, or any other content that’s relevant to your events.
There is definitely no 10-event limit on any of our plugins, so you can feel free to create as many events as you’d like without fear! (If you should happen to recall where you might have seen this suggested, I’d love to take a look and see if there’s any other misinformation that we can clear up.)
I hope that helps to give you some ideas for how your content might work in this setup! Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns–I’m glad to assist. Thanks again! 🙂

MemberHi Raul,
Thanks for following up! I’m going to go ahead and quote these few questions of yours with my answers below. 🙂
Can I set different % fee comission for different vendors?
Unfortunately, this is not yet possible with our PayPal-based option for automatically splitting payments. You can read more about the settings available for Community Tickets here on our Knowledgebase. If you’re looking to vary the amount that is charged per vendor, I’d suggest having your ticket fees included in the amount that is billed to your customers, then having ticket sales paid in full to the site administrator and deducting your fee manually before sending the proceeds to your vendors.
When users make a payment for events. Where the money goes? 100% to the Admin bank accoun? or to the vendor bank account minus the fee comission for the Admin?
This depends on the options you choose in your Community Tickets settings. By default, all payments go to the site administrator, and payments to vendors must be processed manually. If split payments are enabled, the vendor and site administrator will each automatically receive their own portions via PayPal.
I still have doubts about the event aggregator for Meetup groups and events. Would it be possible have a look at a screenshot of the front-end.
You can find plenty of screencaps for all of our plugins on the product pages for our offerings, as well as live demos on our demo site, WP Shindig!
I hope that helps! Thanks, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Michael,
Thanks for confirming that the issue does persist on your cloned site when using fully-updated versions of our plugins. For our next step, would you be willing to try running through a round of conflict testing on your cloned site using the steps outlined in this article? This will allow us to determine if or how your other activated plugins might be impacting performance and load times for our plugins.
Thanks, and let us know if you should have any other questions as you’re getting started! 🙂
April 7, 2017 at 6:00 pm in reply to: Can I charge a small fee for certain front-end submissions? #1266878Caroline
MemberHi Luke,
Thanks for reaching out! While we do have paid/premium event event submissions slated as a planned feature to be included in a future product update, I’m afraid that we’re not able to provide an exact timeline for when this feature might be available. You can always follow the latest updates related to this feature on the idea’s UserVoice page, or you can keep up with all upcoming features for our new releases by following us on our blog or social media.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Dan,
Thanks for getting in touch! You can download an ICS file containing the listed events for any event view or single event, which can then be imported into the third-party calendar application of your choice. You can read more about how this feature works on our Knowledgebase here.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions! 🙂
