MemberHi Peter,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! It sounds like our global stock functionality should be just what you need for this type of setup–this feature allows you to set a single stock limit that applies to all tickets on a given event regardless of type. You can read more about this option and how to use it with your tickets on our Knowledgebase here. Give it a look over whenever you have a moment, and let us know if you should have any questions! 🙂
I hope that helps! Cheers, and thanks again for stopping by!

MemberHi Alistair,
Thanks for reaching out! We absolutely do support this type of filtering with Events Calendar PRO using our Location Search functionality, which taps into location data for venues to find events at or near a given location. Our live calendar demo on WP Shindig has this feature active if you’d like to take it for a spin–try searching for a major city such as London, England or Toronto, Canada to see what comes up!
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Andre,
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you over on our premium forums–would you mind taking a moment to log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for Community Events? One of our support team members will follow up to continue the conversation there as soon as possible!
If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHi there,
Thanks for stopping by! We’re thrilled to hear that you’ve had a solid experience with Events Calendar PRO so far and are now considering adding one of our ticketing plugins into the mix. We offer two separate options for paid ticketing with The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO, each with their own pros and cons.
Event Tickets Plus
- Great for users who want full control over the ticketing experience–site administrators are able to customize every aspect of the ticket creation process, choose the e-commerce solution and payment processor that they prefer, and handle all aspects of ticket and attendee management from their own site.
- An e-commerce plugin is required, and while WooCommerce is the most popular choice, it isn’t the only one. We also offer support for Easy Digital Downloads, WP eCommerce, and Shopp. You can read more about these options and the supported features of each plugin on our Knowledgebase here.
- Invoices are sent automatically after tickets are confirmed and paid in full (or you can customize this behavior to send an invoice whenever you’d like). These confirmation emails also include paper tickets with QR codes that can be scanned to check in users at the venue.
Eventbrite Tickets
- Great for users who already use Eventbrite for their tickets or who want a simple ticketing experience that makes use of Eventbrite’s existing platform.
- Events can be created on either your site or Eventbrite and will sync both ways via the Eventbrite API.
- As all ticket orders and payments are processed through Eventbrite, no additional e-commerce plugins are required.
- Eventbrite handles all invoicing and distributes tickets to your users–options for customizing these are limited to what the platform provides.
I hope that helps to clarify some of the key differences between these two plugins! If you should have any specific questions, please don’t hesitate to follow up, and I’ll be glad to assist further. Cheers, and best of luck making your decision here! 🙂

MemberHi Matthew,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! While there’s no built-in way to create an event without a date at this time, there may be a workaround that’s potentially suitable, depending on what your needs are here. Can you provide any more details on how you’d envision your list of events and single events working in this context? We’ll see what suggestions we can provide (if any) based on your preferences. 🙂
Thank you!

MemberHi Joanne,
You’re very welcome! 🙂 Yes, additional fields such as this can be added to your registration forms using the Attendee Information functionality built into Event Tickets Plus. You can read more about this feature and how to make use of it on our Knowledgebase here. Give it a look over, and let us know if you should have any questions as you’re getting started with it!
Thank you!

MemberHi Ricci,
You’re very welcome! 🙂 Thinking of it now, is it possible that you may be remembering the 10-site activation limit for our Event Aggregator plugin licenses? It’s the only reference to the number 10 that I can think of off the top of my head–if that’s not it and you should remember or come across any references at a later date, please do let us know!
When searching for test entries on your site, are you using a site-wide search or the events-specific search that’s on the main calendar page? Either way, this should be easily fixable, yes. If you’re still having trouble (and you’ve already purchased a license for Events Calendar PRO), please feel free to go ahead and open a new support thread on our PRO forum, and we’ll be more than glad to take a closer look.
Thanks, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Marian,
Perfect, thanks for sharing that information with us! It appears as though you do have some plugins installed that could be potentially conflicting with The Events Calendar, so I’d like to try a round of conflict testing next to rule out any issues there. Would you mind taking a few minutes to run through our conflict testing steps and report back on your findings? (If you’re able to create a duplicate staging/test version of your site for testing purposes, we do recommend this, as it allows you to leave your live site as-is while completing our troubleshooting steps!)
Thanks, and let me know if you should have any questions here!

MemberHi Adrien,
Thanks so much for following up to share that information with us! On further review, it appears that your duplicated events may be related to a known EA bug that’s currently ticketed in our systems. This bug appears to be correlated with the use of special characters in event content. If you should have any other events that are still being duplicated upon import, can you try removing any special characters (such as « and ») from their titles and testing again? Let us know if this change resolves your issue–if so, I’ll add your information from this thread to our ongoing bug ticket.
Thank you!

MemberHi Stéphane,
Thanks for reaching out! If you’d like to have the option for users to create events and sell tickets through your site, you can achieve this using the following combination of plugins:
- The Events Calendar (plus Events Calendar PRO, if desired)
- Event Tickets
- Event Tickets Plus (adds support for ticket sales)
- Community Events (adds support for for user-submitted events)
- Community Tickets (adds support for user-submitted event tickets)
You can score a great deal on most of the plugins you need by picking up our Community Manager Bundle, which includes Event Tickets Plus, Community Events, Community Tickets, and Filter Bar, all at a discounted price compared to buying each plugin individually. It’s a great value for sites such as these and definitely worth a look!
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again for your interest, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do to assist!

MemberHi Joanne,
Thanks for getting in touch! You can easily display a list of attendees on your event pages when using Event Tickets Plus–simply deselect the box marked “Hide attendees list on event page” when creating your tickets, and the attendee list will be displayed on the page for this event. That’s it! 🙂
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!
