I have a wordpress site and my sponsors are night club. Night clubs are “users” in my site, and the other users are customers of the night clubs. I have event calendar pro where I put the events that night clubs organize.
I would like to sell tickets for their events, in a way where a night club can make the check-in for its events.

    1) Which is the best solution?
    2) Do i need Woocommerce (or so)? Or can I use your solution without woocommerce?
    3) And how can I send the invoice to a customer that buys a ticket for an event?

    Hi there,

Thanks for stopping by! We’re thrilled to hear that you’ve had a solid experience with Events Calendar PRO so far and are now considering adding one of our ticketing plugins into the mix. We offer two separate options for paid ticketing with The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO, each with their own pros and cons.

    Event Tickets Plus
    • Great for users who want full control over the ticketing experience–site administrators are able to customize every aspect of the ticket creation process, choose the e-commerce solution and payment processor that they prefer, and handle all aspects of ticket and attendee management from their own site.
    • An e-commerce plugin is required, and while WooCommerce is the most popular choice, it isn’t the only one. We also offer support for Easy Digital Downloads, WP eCommerce, and Shopp. You can read more about these options and the supported features of each plugin on our Knowledgebase here.
    • Invoices are sent automatically after tickets are confirmed and paid in full (or you can customize this behavior to send an invoice whenever you’d like). These confirmation emails also include paper tickets with QR codes that can be scanned to check in users at the venue.
    Eventbrite Tickets
    • Great for users who already use Eventbrite for their tickets or who want a simple ticketing experience that makes use of Eventbrite’s existing platform.
    • Events can be created on either your site or Eventbrite and will sync both ways via the Eventbrite API.
    • As all ticket orders and payments are processed through Eventbrite, no additional e-commerce plugins are required.
    • Eventbrite handles all invoicing and distributes tickets to your users–options for customizing these are limited to what the platform provides.

I hope that helps to clarify some of the key differences between these two plugins! If you should have any specific questions, please don’t hesitate to follow up, and I’ll be glad to assist further. Cheers, and best of luck making your decision here! 🙂

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
