MemberHi Roxie,
I’m so sorry for the disappointment here. We definitely hear your concerns regarding this issue, and we hope to be able to roll out improvements such as these with our recurring ticket functionality in the near future. We do appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us–I’ll be sure to pass it along to our products team for further consideration in development!
One solution that you may wish to consider is selling your event tickets from the default WooCommerce products page, which will show all tickets (and other WooCommerce products) on a single page or series of pages by default. This would allow your users to get a clear view of all tickets that are available regardless of the associated event date, and they’d have the option of quickly adding multiple tickets to their cart–and gaining any associated discounts in the process. You can learn more about how to sell tickets from the WooCommerce products page on our Knowledgebase here:
If you’d like to ensure that users can quickly access the single product pages for each individual ticket from a series of events, you can simply drop those links into the event description for each event in the series. Users will be able to click through to the dates they’d prefer and add as many tickets as they’d like to their cart.
I hope that helps! Again, thanks so much for sharing your concerns with us here–please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any other suggestions you might have, and feel free to share your ideas and cast your vote for others on our UserVoice forum! Cheers, and thanks again!

MemberHi Maria,
Thanks for following up! Updates for premium plugins can only be installed through WordPress if an active license key is currently in place for the product you’re attempting to update. Please double-check that you’ve completed a renewal purchase for your license key ending up 1853, then check the license key and try installing the update again!
If you should continue to experience issues after that, we’d be glad to assist over in email. Please email us with a copy of your license key and the order number for your renewal purchase, and we’ll follow up as soon as possible! (When viewing the contact page linked below, please select the option “Help accessing my account” from the drop-down menu to display the full email form.)

Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here! 🙂

MemberHi Pete,
Thanks for reaching out! While we’re not able to downgrade specific license keys at this time, we’d be more than glad to process a refund on your behalf so that you can purchase new licensing for Events Calendar PRO and Filter Bar whenever you’re ready! Would you mind taking a moment to fill out our refund request form?

MemberHi Tim,
Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, we don’t offer an export format for events that’s targeted specifically for print at this time. I’d suggest one of the following methods to export your existing events for this type of use:
- When viewing your events in List View, copy and paste the list of events into a new document, making any necessary changes to text and formatting before saving.
- Export the desired events in ICS format, then convert this file into a text-based format using conversion software or online tools. This link outlines a possible process using Google Calendar–note that this is untested by us, so we can’t guarantee that it will work for your needs. https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/calendar/dtQhDCFYbF4
I hope one of these suggestions might help to get you on your way here! 🙂 Cheers, and thanks again!

MemberHi Zee,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m afraid that we’re not best equipped to help out with technical question such as these here in our pre-sales forum! I’d suggest posing this question over on our WordPress.org support forum for Event Tickets–our support team members complete regular passes over in these free plugin forums, and you may find fellow customizers eager to lend a hand and share suggestions, as well!

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and we’ll see you over on WordPress.org! 🙂

MemberHi there,
Thanks for reaching out! Happy to answer these questions for you! 🙂
- Great question! If your theme supports sidebar widgets, you can use the Default Page Template to leave your sidebars intact on all calendar and event views. You’ll find the setting for Events template in your plugin settings under Events > Settings > Display.
- While we don’t yet offer an option for paid event submissions within our plugins, this is something that we do have on the docket for a future plugin release! You can keep this with the progress of this feature by following the original feature request on our UserVoice forum.
- Users can easily submit events to be added to your calendar using the Community Events add-on! This plugin works great with either The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO and allows you to receive submissions from the public while still maintaining full editorial control. You can find more info on this plugin on the product page linked above!
- If you’re able to export your existing events to CSV or another format (such as ICS/iCal), you should be able to import them straight into The Events Calendar without any added fuss. However, your permalink structure may change somewhat depending on how your original events were set up. If needed, you can change the URL slugs used for your events in your plugin settings–if this isn’t sufficient, you may wish to consider a third-party redirection plugin for redirecting your old event URL structure to the new one.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Lugo,
Thanks for trying out our free version of The Events Calendar! That’s correct–calendar and event shortcodes are only available with our premium calendar offering Events Calendar PRO, as are most of the widgets detailed in our Knowledgebase. You’ll find a more detailed feature comparison between the two plugins on the product page for Events Calendar PRO linked above! Let us know if you should have any other questions about either product that aren’t answered there. 🙂
Cheers, and thanks again!

MemberHi Joy,
Thanks for reaching out! The price that you’re seeing is definitely not the intended renewal price for an Events Calendar PRO Personal license. I’d suggest removing all items from your cart and attempting your renewal again, following the steps outlined in our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/renewing-your-license/
Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns as you’re working your way through a new renewal with us! 🙂 Cheers, and thanks again!

MemberHi there,
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
- If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
- If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product.
Since it sounds like your problem here may be related to your theme of choice, I’d also suggest noting the theme that you’re using when submitting your new post. You may also wish to reach out to your theme’s developer for more information here!
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHi Mari,
Thanks for stopping by (and thanks for paying us a compliment, as well)! 🙂 While we don’t offer any built-in solutions for allowing users to subscribe to new event notifications, you can add in this functionality by way of the third-party plugin Events Calendar Newsletter. For more information on this plugin and how to implement this feature on your site, you can check out this post over on our UserVoice forum:
We also offer RSS feeds for calendar events, including category-specific feeds, so your users can easily subscribe to a category feed from their feed reader of choice. Or your readers can simply add your RSS feed URL(s) to an RSS-to-email application (such as Blogtrottr) and receive email notifications when new posts are added to that category!
To grab the RSS feed for any event category, simply add /feed to the end of your category URL. For example, if you wanted to retrieve an RSS feed for the “WP Meetups” category on our WP Shindig demo site, you’d add /feed to wpshindig.com/events/category/wp-meetups to get wpshindig.com/events/category/wp-meetups/feed.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Ann,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! I’d be glad to see what we can recommend for your ideal setup here. 🙂
You’re correct in that it’s very much possible to share events between two The Events Calendar calendars by using Event Aggregator. I’d suggest picking up the Business license tier for our Importer Bundle, which will provide you with discounted licenses for Events Calendar PRO, Filter Bar, and Event Aggregator. You can then add on a single Business license for Community Events to add the community-based functionality that you’ll need for your site setup! Business licensing means that you’ll be able to activate each license key on up to three sites (so both of your sites will be covered), and each of our licenses includes one full year of updates and support, with discounts available for renewing in subsequent years. You can learn more about our one-year licenses and what they include on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-does-buying-a-license-get-me/
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions or concerns!

MemberHi Alan,
Thanks for reaching out! It looks like this post may be an unintended duplicate of your previous one, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out, if that’s alright with you! Please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if you should have any other questions or if there’s anything else that we can do for you! 🙂

MemberHi Alan,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m afraid that we’re not able to provide technical assistance of this type here in our pre-sales forum, nor are our support team members able to offer detailed support for customization- and development-related queries. Since you’re a current user of one or more of our free plugins, I’d suggest posing this question on the WordPress.org support forum for The Events Calendar or Event Tickets! While our support team members are unable to provide hands-on guidance for these types of development efforts, we’d be more than glad to try and point you in the right direction, and you may find some helpful advice among your fellow users on the forums, as well! Would you mind taking a moment to re-post your question at one of the above locations?
Thanks again, and we’ll see you over on WordPress.org! 🙂

MemberHi Fernando,
Thanks for your interest in Event Tickets Plus! As Event Tickets Plus routes all payment processing and order management tasks through your e-commerce platform of choice, payment methods that are supported by your e-commerce platform should work just fine with our plugin! I’d suggest using WooCommerce with the Cash on Delivery payment method. You can learn more about this option on WooCommerce’s documentation here:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/cash-on-delivery/
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions! 🙂
