MemberSure thing Hans, I’d be happy to do that. Please give me your username from translations.theeventscalendar.com/ and I can add you 🙂 Which plugin(s) are you interested in translating?

MemberHi Jared,
Thanks for your note. Is your customer hoping to set refund windows for tickets via our Event Tickets plugins, or would they just like to be able to define a window on a general event for folks to see?
You can certainly display a refund window per event- the simplest way (with our free core plugin) is to just add that information in the event description. A better way would be to use Event Calendar PRO’s Additional Fields feature to show the refund window alongside the rest of the event metadata. The admin could easily select the option (e.g. 1 week, 2 weeks) from the backend event page. Would that work for you?

MemberHi Daniella,
I’m sorry about that! We hope to add recurring event support for tickets in the future, but as you’ve read it’s not currently a possibility. If you’ve purchased PRO recently and would like a refund, we’d be happy to give that to you- you’ll just need to email support (at) theeventscalendar.com and include your order receipt.

MemberHi Matt,
I wanted to drop in here and thank you for your patience. We are experiencing a higher-than-usual support load and may not be able to answer threads as fast as possible. We are working hard to address threads as soon as we are able.
We have a snippet here that will re-add the Cost Field back to your admin event page. The PHP error issue is also something that we are actively working on fixing, and we should have a fix out an upcoming release. Thanks for your patience while we get that issue corrected!

I suspect there’s a way to give a user settings permission, but I’m not positive- and it could depend on the user roles plugin you mentioned. I’m going to have a member of our support team chime in here tomorrow and give you a more in-depth answer. Thanks again for your patience!

Can you confirm what version of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO your site is using? You’ll want to make sure you’re updating to our latest version, 4.0.
Have you tried reaching out to the author of the theme? It’s possible that the theme was compatible with an older version of our plugins but needs to be updated in order to work properly now.
On http://spondylitis.kryap.com/activiteiten/oefengroepen/ I see that you are using our new This Week widget. Have you downloaded the latest Dutch translation for your site? Since that widget is brand new, your current translation file might be missing that string. You can download the latest files here. Add those to your /lang file (replacing the old ones) and hopefully that will resole the issue!

MemberHi Robert,
Thanks for your note. Generally when an order is marked Complete that means it is paid. For example, if the buyer pays online right away, the order will change to Complete immediately. If they are using an offline payment method, the order will show as Pending until an admin changes it- such as when they receive the actual payment.
Does that help? Are you experiencing a problem with orders showing as Complete before the payment comes through?

Can you confirm that you are running Community Events 4.0 and The Events Calendar 4.0 as well? Also, can you double check what your WordPress site’s timezone is set to? It’s possible that a discrepancy between your settings and your actual timezone could be part of the problem. Having this information will help us help you faster!
Thank you again for your patience and support!

Can you confirm that you are running Events Calendar PRO 4.0 and also updated The Events Calendar to 4.0 as well? You might also check for a theme or plugin conflict. Having that information will help us help you faster.

I can certainly see why you’d want to be able to adjust the confirmation email address! I’m pretty sure that there isn’t a setting to define the address, but I suspect that it is changeable with some slight modification. That said I’m not an expert, so I’m going to have a member of our support team provide a more in-depth answer. The team is gone for the night, but your thread will be one of the first ones addressed when they return to work tomorrow.
Thank you again for your patience and support!

MemberHey Phil,
Thanks for getting in touch. Sounds like a cool project!
There isn’t a built in way for two websites to directly share events as you’re describing, either in the core calendar plugin or with PRO. However, you can export events to iCal files, and we have an iCal Importer plugin. You could have the other site export events and then import them into your calendar. Might that work for you? Your site wouldn’t need to be running PRO, only The Events Calendar and iCal Importer (so you’d still only need to purchase one license).

MemberHi Christofer,
Thanks for getting in touch. Attendee lists are only shown per event. It’s conceivable that some custom work could make a master attendee list possible, but it’s definitely not something that’s built in.
You can export the attendee lists to CSV files, so it’s also possible that you could create a master file somewhere by combining the attendee lists from different events. Perhaps that would be useful in your situation?

December 8, 2015 at 1:59 pm in reply to: Do I need Events Calendar Pro if I want to buy Eventbrite Tickets? #1037835Leah
MemberHi Stuart,
Nope, you do not need to buy Events Calendar PRO. Eventbrite Tickets can be used with just our free core plugin, The Events Calendar. You only need PRO if you want to add the PRO-specific features (recurring events, advanced views, fancy widgets, etc.) to your calendar as well.

MemberHi Alex,
Thanks for getting in touch. It sounds like you need a plugin that specializes in bookings, which unfortunately is not true of The Events Calendar. You can use TEC and various add-on plugins to have recurring events and sell tickets, but not as you describe. I’m sorry for the bad news, but I certainly wouldn’t want to mislead you about the functionality of our plugins. They are really designed as calendars, and not as full booking systems.
Other folks have encouraged us to consider adding more extensive booking functionality, and it is something we might consider in the future. If you add your votes to our Uservoice feature request thread then we’ll be able to keep you updated if we decide to work on it.
Good luck with your project!
