    Hello,

I’m trying to ascertain whether your plugins will do the following:

Allow courses to be defined (with a course info page). (Eg A First Aid course, FA1, and a Fire Safety course, FS1)
Allow dates/times for the courses, with available tickets for those. (So FA1 might run on Tuesday 12th Dec, and Tuesday 19th Dec, and have space for up to 12 people).
Allow both a combined and a course-specific calendar showing when the courses are running, and the current availabliity.
Let people book tickets for a given time/day, allowing them to book between 1 and the total remaining tickets.
Let people pay for the course (using Woo Commerce so allowing all payment options WC allows).
Allow individual course dates to be discounted. (eg FA1 on 19th Dec)
    Allow use of WC coupons.
Allow tier pricing. (Eg for one person on FA1 on 12th is £50, and for 10 might be £440).

    Thanks,
    Alex

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for getting in touch. It sounds like you need a plugin that specializes in bookings, which unfortunately is not true of The Events Calendar. You can use TEC and various add-on plugins to have recurring events and sell tickets, but not as you describe. I’m sorry for the bad news, but I certainly wouldn’t want to mislead you about the functionality of our plugins. They are really designed as calendars, and not as full booking systems.

Other folks have encouraged us to consider adding more extensive booking functionality, and it is something we might consider in the future. If you add your votes to our Uservoice feature request thread then we’ll be able to keep you updated if we decide to work on it.

    Good luck with your project!

    ~Leah
