Cheers,
LeahLeahMemberGlad you were able to find what you needed here on the forums, Ria. Thanks!
LeahMemberHi JB,
We do have a plugin that allows you to important events from Facebook into the Events Calendar. You can check it out at https://theeventscalendar.com/facebook-events/
At this time it does not allow you to important events from Events Calendar to Facebook but we hope to add that in the future. (Building that architecture is unfortunately far more complex than building the export architecture, so we wanted to go ahead and get the FB -> WP approach out there first and foremost.) But the current version does allow you to post events at the same time, as long as you do it from the Facebook side.
For the other social networks you mentioned, you may need to look into third-party customization to allow integration. If there isn’t something already in WordPress that makes connection with ArtistData or Bands In Town possible, customization would be the way to go.
I hope that answered your question. Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with.
Cheers,
LeahLeahMemberHey Bob,
Yes, the additional fields feature is only in PRO. If you decide to upgrade, check out our tutorial video at https://theeventscalendar.com/pro-adding-custom-events-attributes/ and learn all about the cool custom event attributes.
Cheers,
LeahLeahMemberHey Jonathan,
Glad you’re looking forward to the WooTickets add on. We don’t have an exact date set for release, but it will be soon. Keep an eye on the site for more news!

LeahMemberSounds great! Have fun, and let us know if you need anything. Once you’ve got your PRO license don’t hesitate to come on over to the PRO forums (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/events-calendar-pro/) and start a new thread.
September 21, 2012 at 10:45 am in reply to: Is upgrade from The Event Calendar to The Event Calendar Pro seemless? #25537LeahMemberHey Calvin,
That is definitely not as seamless as one would hope! I repeated your steps and had the same result. What you experienced is not the intended behavior, I believe that’s actually a bug in the process. I’m sorry you had to make all those manual changes!
I don’t have an exact timetable, but we’ll definitely try to get this corrected as soon as possible, hopefully in the next release. Thanks for your thorough explanation so we could identify this issue!
Cheers,
LeahLeahMemberHey Tom,
The process you described should work. You could potentially run into a problem if the license is on both the demo site and the live site simultaneously (since it’s a 1 site license). Without the license you won’t have access to support and updates, but the plugin will still work. Once you get the license switched over to the live site, you’ll have those features back. If you have any trouble, just post in the forums or shoot us an email at pro /a/ tri.be and we’ll get you sorted.
Cheers,
LeahLeahMemberThanks for posting the code Maurice! I’ll bet another user will find that helpful.
LeahMemberHey Ray,
Sorry we didn’t get back to you sooner! I’ll check on your questions and get back to you with some substantial answers as soon as possible.
Thanks for your patience!
~LeahLeahMemberGlad that worked for you!
Cheers,
LeahLeahMemberGreat! Thanks so much for your support Michael. If you have any more questions feel free to hit up the PRO forum at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/events-calendar-pro/

LeahMemberHi Michael,
Thanks for getting in touch! At this time, you are not able to exclude a specific date from an event that is set to recur. Depending on what you what to achieve, there may be some relatively simple ways to work around that limitation. I recommend that you check out this tutorial video on different ways to use the feature: https://theeventscalendar.com/test-video/
Advanced options for recurring events is one of our most common feature requests and we’re planning to include these options in a future release. I’ve added your idea to our to-do list 🙂
Does that answer your question?
Cheers,
LeahLeahMemberHey Maria,
I thought of your question when I came across this forum thread. It appears that there could be a way to make the multiple-event map using Google Maps API.
