KeymasterHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
Regarding recurring events, you actually need Events Calendar PRO to use this feature, and I don’t this a PRO license associated with your account. Maybe you have used another email address to get a PRO license?
To answer your first question, it mostly depends on how you have set them up. I would strongly recommend you to read carefully (if you haven’t done it yet) our documentation about recurring events.
To uninstall/reinstall our plugin, if it states that the folder already exists, then you should do a manual installation via your FTP account. Once again, please read carefully our documentation about it.
I hope this helps,
Cheers,

KeymasterHi,

I wanted to have a look at your website, but the access is protected with a password. Could you give me an access? (you can set your reply as “Private”).
Thanks in advance,

KeymasterHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
There is no setting to modify the size of the hover box on the calendar, however, you could use some css in order to customize it. The class you are looking for is
.tribe-events-tooltip.For instance, you could add in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS the following snippet:
.tribe-events-calendar .tribe-events-tooltip { padding: 40px; // or any other dimension that would suit your calendar }I hope this helps.

KeymasterHello Manuel,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
In order to do so, could you share with me your System Information?
Thanks in advance,
JeremyJeremy
KeymasterHi,
Thank you for that clarification 🙂
I’m not sure what the problem is though, as I didn’t manage to reproduce this bug with the latest versions of PRO (4.4.28) and Community Events (4.5.12) activated on my local installation.
There are mainly two options: you can either run some tests to find out if another plugin or your theme is causing a conflict, or you can downgrade the plugin to a past version.
I hope this helps,
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Roger,
It’s good to know that bypassing Cloudflare helps showing the page, even though it takes a long time. Obviously performance needs to be improved on your website.
To answer your questions:
- I only have a hundred events, venues and organizers on my local installation. It should work with 4,000–10,000 though, but the more events, the slower the website.
- I haven’t adjusted the database, server or php settings beyond the WP requirements to run TEC better.
To speed that up, I’d recommend you to have a look at our article about performance considerations. You might also be interested in that article about caching. Also, given the fact the more events you show, the costlier it gets, it might be a good thing to remove past events.
I hope this helps,
Cheers,

KeymasterHi April,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
Since you have the most recent version of that extension (2.1.0), it should normally work (I tried this extension locally a few minutes ago and didn’t come across a similar problem).
Can you make sure you are using
"and not” in your shortcode? Also, can you make sure the venues you want to list have thumbnails attached to them? (it’s better to double check as weird things sometimes happen with WordPress…)
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Shaun,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
Is your Eventbrite account under eventbrite.com or are you under another country locale, like eventbrite.ca?
When using a different locale, you will need to install the following extension >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/eventbrite-additional-options/Â Once installed and activated, a new set of options will be available.
You’ll have to navigate to your WP Admin > Events > Settings > Imports tab, then select the correct Eventbrite Locale and click “Save Changes”.
Once that’s done, you should be able to connect to your Eventbrite account.
Please let me know about it.

KeymasterHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
And thank you Daniel for sneaking in. Indeed, updating the Event Tickets free core plugin to version 4.7.4.1 should solve this issue. Coud you confirm, alliance of women directors, that it also works for you after the update?

KeymasterHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
You can’t choose a venue from the client-side only, or also from the back-office?
Anyway, it is likely there is a conflict somewhere. Could you switch back to the default theme (Twenty Seventeen) to see if that makes a difference? Then, could you deactivate all plugins (except The Event Calendar ones), and check again your form?
Before doing those tests, I would recommend you to read our documentation about testing for conflicts. Ideally, you would have a staging environment, but if that’s not the case, you can use a tool such as Plugin Detective to help you troubleshoot the issues.
Please let me know how it goes.

KeymasterHi Miriam,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
I’m not sure I understood the issue you’ve encountered. Could you give me an example of a filter you have selected? Or maybe a screenshot?
Also, I noticed you don’t have the latest versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO. Did you downgrade so that your filters could work properly? If that’s the case, do you have a staging website where you could install the latest version of our plugins?
Cheers,
