Thanks for sending those links…I took a look at the pages, but I did not see a button to add tickets on either page. Are there other events where this is happening? Could you send me a link if so? If you click to add the ticket to the cart and a different product is added to the cart, is a different ticket (such as for another event or date) added to the cart, or another WooCommerce product entirely?

Regarding the color, the Avada theme actually adds its own templates and styling for our plugins – this article has some info on how you can adjust these.

    Hi Paula,

Can you clarify what you mean by the existing tickets locking up? Are you not able to edit any of the details from the back end or are they not showing up on the event at all as was happening before? I would also recommend upgrading to the current version of Event Tickets (4.7.3.1) and Event Tickets Plus (4.7.3) to see if that makes a difference – you might need to clear out your cache again after updating. Let me know how this goes!

    Hi Hannu,

I’m glad that you were able to get the parent displayed! Do you have the “Recurring event instances” option checked under Events > Settings > General? If so, you can try unchecking that and see if that gives you the rest of the instances for a series?

    Hi Barry,

Thanks for sending that over! These selectors should still be correct. I took a look at the site, and it looks like, for whatever reason, this is not loading on the page. I tried adding your first rule from the Inspector in Chrome, and it did remove the “View more” link (see screenshot). Can you tell me where you are entering this CSS? If you are using Divi, you should have an “Additional CSS” area under Appearance > Customize where you can add this, or another good place to add it is the style.css file of your child theme, if you are using one.

Thanks for sending that link! We just released a new version of The Events Calendar (4.6.18). I tested this link out on my end using the current version, and everything appears to be working correctly. Can you try updating to the current version and let me know if you find the same thing? If you’re doing any caching on your site (such as via a plugin or on your server), you’ll want to clear that out after updating.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

I’m glad that you were able to get the start date changed! Regarding a photo gallery, are you wanting this to display on the single event pages, or are you looking to display events in photo view? If you want the events to display this way, then you would just need to enable photo view under Events > Settings > Display > Enable Event Views, and you can then use this as your main events view or display it anywhere on your site using the tribe_events shortcode.

You can add it to the event description to get it to display on single event pages. It sounds like you may have tried this and were seeing the photos in the description excerpt, such as in list view? If so, then you can either use the manual excerpt for events (you can read more about excerpts and previews here), or potentially do a customization to reduce the amount of content shown in excerpt in list view. If you need help with this and can clarify how you would like this to work, I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!

If you have any other questions or if I’ve misunderstood what you’re looking for, please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

I believe that screenshot is a bit outdated…currently, the option to select an ecommerce platform will only appear if you have multiple ecommerce platforms enabled (which is not something we recommend). If you do have multiple platforms enabled, then you will have the option to select which one you would like to use by clicking the “Settings” button in the ticket edit section. If you only have WooCommerce enabled, then the tickets you create will be created as WooCommerce simple products automatically.

Besides configuring WooCommerce itself, there is not much that you need to do to integrate with Event Tickets Plus, but we do have some tips here on configuring your ecommerce platform to work well with Event Tickets Plus. I would also recommend taking a look at the following articles, which have some great info on getting up and running with ET+:

New User Primer: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus

Settings Overview: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus

    Managing Your Orders and Attendees

I hope this helps in getting things configured, but please let me know if you run into any issues or have any questions on the set-up!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Great, I’m glad that everything is working now. If you run into any other issues, feel free to open up a new thread!

I believe I did misunderstand your previous post…I thought you meant excluding those files had solved the issue. I’m sorry about the confusion there! I’m glad you were since able to get this resolved! It is possible that a file name was changed or a new file was added in an update. In the future, you can keep an eye out for similar changes in our release notes. Just to make sure, is everything now working correctly?

    Hello,

Thanks for clarifying and sending the screenshots!

One thing that I want to point out first with the front end event submission page (from Community Events) is that it is not a traditional page that you can see in the Pages section on your site – it is generated automatically. You can however customize this page by doing a template override. The file you need to copy and edit can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/edit-event.php.

For the single events pages, I’d still recommend switching the “Events template” setting to “Default Page Template”. There is not an out-of-the-box way to get the meta box to show up on the back end of events pages (although you may be able to do so with a customization – you might contact your theme author to find out about adding it to custom post types like “tribe_events”). We do have a shortcode that lets you insert single event content into other pages.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Steffen,

Thanks for clarifying! Event Tickets Plus does integrate with WooCommerce (tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products), and using the PDF Tickets extension I mentioned, PDF copies of the tickets will automatically be created in the system, which you can then print out and send to users. If you wanted to create the orders yourself instead of having users purchase tickets through the website, you can add the orders to WooCommerce manually.

By default, tickets are emailed to users when they purchase them. You can however disable this email via a quick customization if you do not want this to happen.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Thanks for your feedback! I’m glad this helps you out. Many of our extensions come from popular customization requests and do sometimes make it into core.

If there is anything else that I can help with, please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Hi Andre,

You can sometimes use one license on both a dev and live site (this article has some more info on how this works). However, even if you only use it on one of your sites, you can still update the other one manually if needed. So to answer your question, you can make a copy of the live site to test before updating your live site (we always recommend doing it this way to identify any problems that might arise from updating).

Perfect! I’m glad this worked for you. I’ll go ahead and close out this thread since it’s been marked “Resolved”, but please feel free to open up a new one if you have any other questions!
