Calendar View and Photos

I would like to know if there is a way to change the calendar (month view) to show Sunday – Saturday instead of Monday – Sunday as it is out of the box.

Is there a way to add multiple photos under an event link a photo gallery on the even page and not just a featured photo.

Hello,

Sure thing! You can change the start of the week to Sunday under Settings > General > Week Starts On. The calendar should respect that setting.

Awesome, I kept looking in the plug-in settings not the main WP settings.

Is there a way to add a photo gallery to the events? I might be able to add
it to the event description content however I don’t want all the photos to
show it the event meta box.

gallery responsive or cleaner more fitting for the site.

Hello,

I’m glad that you were able to get the start date changed! Regarding a photo gallery, are you wanting this to display on the single event pages, or are you looking to display events in photo view? If you want the events to display this way, then you would just need to enable photo view under Events > Settings > Display > Enable Event Views, and you can then use this as your main events view or display it anywhere on your site using the tribe_events shortcode.

You can add it to the event description to get it to display on single event pages. It sounds like you may have tried this and were seeing the photos in the description excerpt, such as in list view? If so, then you can either use the manual excerpt for events (you can read more about excerpts and previews here), or potentially do a customization to reduce the amount of content shown in excerpt in list view. If you need help with this and can clarify how you would like this to work, I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!
