    Hi Jacob,

Thanks for checking out Community Events!

While Community Tickets does allow you to collect fees for tickets that users sell on your site, there is not currently any functionality to collect fees for submitting events through Community Events. This is something that we are working on adding in the future, but I don’t have a timeline I can give you at the moment as to when this might be released.

In the meantime, Community Events does allow you to require users to be logged in to submit events, so you might be able to use a third-party membership plugin in conjunction with Community Events to charge users for the ability to create events on your site.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Community Events for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Christopher,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

I am not familiar with this particular theme (you can read more about theme compatibility here), but our plugins do typically work pretty well with most themes that follow WordPress best practices.

Events Calendar Pro does come with shortcodes that you can use to add calendar views to other pages on your site, and you can see a demo of all of our views here. For the sidebars and footers, Events Calendar Pro does come with some additional widgets, and Pro also has shortcodes for widgets in addition to those for full calendar views.

Some themes do allow you to create different views with custom post types (like events), but you would need to test it out to make sure that it will work the way you need it to.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Events Calendar Pro for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Juan,

Thanks for checking out Event Tickets Plus! It allows you to integrate with WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads to sell tickets, but these are currently the only ecommerce platforms that it will work with. Additionally, Event Tickets will allow you to sell tickets by integrating directly with PayPal. Neither plugin allows you to create other products (like shirts) besides tickets, but WooCommerce does let you add and sell other products (like shirts) on your site. If you choose to use WooCommerce as your ecommerce platform for Event Tickets Plus, users will be able to purchase both tickets (which will essentially be WooCommerce simple products) and other products in the same order; all products will be added to the same cart.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

Thanks for checking out our plugins! Many of our users do use them in conjunction with the Divi theme, but events pages do not use the Divi builder by default (you may be able to do a customization to add it – this guide from Divi has some info on adding the builder to custom post types). There is a known issue with the number of events shown per page when using Divi, but we have a free extension that you can download to fix this issue.

Pro does come with some shortcodes for full calendar views and widgets that you can add to another page that is using the Divi builder.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Events Calendar Pro for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Doug,

Unfortunately we do not have access to the Facebook API (which allows Event Aggregator to connect to Facebook) at this time, but we are working on getting this restored. Our application is currently under review. We are posting updates on this here as they become available, and we are hoping to get imports running again following approval (although we do not have any timeline as to when this might happen).

Exporting to Facebook is not something that we have planned on adding as a feature, as Event Aggregator focuses on importing events to your site. But, if this is a feature you would like to see added in the future, we’d love it if you could post the idea in our Feature Ideas Forum! We use this to gauge user interest in new features and help plan future development.

I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you right now, but please let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Pumice,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

The recurring events feature of Events Calendar Pro will let you create events that recur at whatever upcoming date/time you specify, and you do have the ability to set multiple rules for one event.

So for July 21-22, you would create one event for the first day at 10am, then set it to recur the next day (at 10 am or at a different time).

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Events Calendar Pro for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

in reply to: Simple Organizer sign-up form… #1560432

    Hi Kandace!

Community Events does let users create organizers when creating an event, but there is not currently any functionality that would allow them to create only an organizer. You could potentially integrate a third-party form (possibly with a plugin like this one) or a custom form with The Events Calendar to create new organizers from submissions, but this would likely require a fair amount of code customization. This is outside the scope of support that we are able to provide here in the forums, but we do have a list of recommended developers that you could contact if you’d like to get help with the code. If you’d like to give this a shot yourself, then we do have some knowledge articles related to customizations that might help you out.

I’m sorry that I don’t have a more straightforward solution for you here, but please let me know if there is anything else that I can help with!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Whitney,

Thanks for reaching out! First, please note that customizations like this are outside the scope of support that we are able to provide here in the forums. As a starting point here, I would recommend adjusting the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” and “Events template” settings under Events > Settings > Display. These affect how much events pages inherit their styling from the theme and might resolve some of these issues.

To remove/change content, you can do a template override. Our themer’s guide has instructions on this, and for changing text, you might find this article helpful.

Regarding the additional fields, these only show up on the single events page by default, provided that the event does have content saved for those fields (otherwise the fields will not show at all). If an event does have content saved for the fields but isn’t showing them on the single event page, then the first troubleshooting step would be to test for any conflicts that might be occurring with your theme or other plugins. Make sure to have WP_DEBUG enabled while testing and copy/paste any errors that you see here.

Another thing to note is that the Avada theme includes its own styling for our plugins, which overrides our default styles and templates. This article might be helpful as well, particularly with the styling changes.

In order to keep things organized and make sure that we are helping all users in a timely manner, we are only able to address one issue per thread. If you need further help with any of the customizations, but please keep in mind that we are pretty limited in the amount of support that we can provide for these. However, we will try to point you in the right direction if we can. Please let me know how it goes with the additional fields!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

They do have a free version which you can download here from wordpress.org (I sent you to their main page for a better overview of the features, but it looks like they don’t have a link to their free version on that page). Sorry for the confusion there! You can download the free importer plugin here.

Pro does come with some export features for events, but since you were looking specifically for venues, I thought that this option would work better for you. If additional export functionality is something that you would like to see added in the future, please do let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum! This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

    Hello,

First, I apologize for the delay here. We just released some updates that should solve this issue with Eventbrite. Can you try updating to the following versions to see if that gets things working for you:

    • The Events Calendar 4.6.19
    • Eventbrite Tickets 4.5.1
    • Events Calendar Pro 4.4.28

After updating, you’ll want to clear out your cache within WP Super Cache. Please let me know if this gets these imports running!

    Hello,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on!

First, can you please share your full system info with me? Can you also verify that you have the [tribe-tpp-success] shortcode saved on your success page? Can you also try removing the /dallas from the end of the Notification URL in PayPal?

Let me know how this goes!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

I’m sorry that you’re having such a hard time exporting venues! We don’t have any specific plans for adding export functionality at this time, partly because many of our users find that WP All Export works great for exporting (and importing) event-related data. This free plugin offers many helpful options for creating custom exports (both for events and other post types). Can you give this a try and let me know if it works better for you?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
