KeymasterHi Mustafa,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
In order to use Community Events and Community Tickets (to have users create RSVPs for their events from the Community Events submission form), you will also need Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus.
You can instead utilize only Event Tickets (which is free), if you do not want to create RSVPs from the front end on your Community Events submission form.
We have a great 30-day full refund policy, so if things really don’t work out the way you’d hoped, you can get a full refund.
Also, feel free to check out our demo site here.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ashley,
Okay, I see. You had posted in the Pre-Sales forum, so I had assumed you did not have a license. I am not seeing a license attached to your email address. Would you mind opening up a new thread in our premium forums with your license, so that we can better assist you there?
Let me know if you have any other questions on this process!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterThank you for your response. If you do notice that they are not working properly in the future, let me know so that we can continue to troubleshoot the issue.
Please note that threads automatically close in three weeks if there is no response, so feel free to open a new thread and reference this one with any additional questions.
Let me know if you need any further assistance!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Sarah,
After reviewing your request this essentially looks like a custom development task and so is outside of our stated scope of support.
With that being said, we’d love to help point you in the right direction.
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to attempt the results that you are looking for.
If you’d prefer not to tackle this customization on your own, we may be able to assist you further. We do need to prioritize support requests from other customers at this time but I’ll certainly flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so. Please let us know if you’d like to go this route so that you can be added to this queue.
In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share (including mocks) that will help us to better understand what you are seeking please do feel free to add them to this ticket.
If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi John,
Update notices do not occur with Multisite, which is why you have to update manually. You can read more about that here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/
As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Another option would be for you to install the third-party plugin, Health Check, which can mimic a bare WordPress install while your site visitors still see your site the way that it normally appears.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Suzan,
Unfortunately, I could reproduce the same issue on my end. I have logged a bug report for this so it can be addressed in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.
I will set this thread’s status as “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released.
We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

Unfortunately, that is not possible with the tribe_events shortcode, however it is possible with our PRO Widget Shortcodes. Here are all of the widget shortcode possibilities:

KeymasterSorry to hear that.
The article that I previously linked to does provide some additional information on the permissions that can be added with the use of Members plugin:
We’d love to assist you further over on our WordPress.org forum for The Events Calendar.
Thanks for your understanding!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Timothy,
I just wanted to confirm that you ran through that testing before we moved ahead. Glad to hear that you already did that.
The user in the thread that you linked to is using WordPress.com, not WordPress.org, are you also using .com?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ken,
Thanks for your feedback.
You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

KeymasterHi Ken,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can try integrating the third-party plugin, Members, in order to give you some more options on permissions for your users.

KeymasterHi Leslie,
Thanks so much for reaching out again here!
Courtney was correct in saying that these shortcodes are only available with the paid version of our plugin, Events Calendar PRO.
We don’t currently have any promotions available, but you are welcome to check back in the future to see if we offering any discounts.
https://theeventscalendar.com/deals-coupons-discounts/
As far as embedded events being removed by end date, this functionality should work by default. Although I do not know the exact scenario that you are referring to, I tested this functionality myself, and an event that has started but has not yet ended still appears in my Upcoming Events.
We have a great 30-day full refund policy, so if things really don’t work out the way you’d hoped, you can get a full refund.
Also, feel free to check out our demo site here.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime
