ParticipantHi, I am working with Multisite, and I have 17 total sites, and all but one are working correctly. We are using the Pro version and the Filter Bar.
- The Month page comes up as a http error 500.
- For the moment this site is set to display as week by default, the links on the item look correct, but just go to the main week page.
- The dropdown to change the layout, has an issue. It shows the dropdown and the styled version that usually hides the normal form dropdown on a few sites, including this one
- I have tried to searching the forum & knowledgebase but didn’t see anything that looked exactly like my issue.
- I tried disabling as many plugins as possible, but at the moment I don’t have a copy I can do testing on without taking the whole site down.
- I’ve tested the htaccess files to see if it was a bad redirect
- I’ve loaded it and a working site’s settings page up together to cross check differences
- I’ve cleared out caching programs cache, the browsers cache and cookies
- I didn’t not set up the plugin, but I did take a look at the overrides in the theme folder
Anything that you can think of else to try would be great.

KeymasterHi John,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, can you try updating all of your Events Calendar related plugins to their most recent versions and see if that helps to resolve your issue?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantNot sure my reply was sent, writing it again just in case.
I didn’t have an update notification on those, so I uploaded copies of the Pro and Filter Bar plugins updates.
It didn’t seem to change anything, but it was interesting that it didn’t register several versions back, have to watch that. It was a good first step.
I played around with it a bit more, but didn’t notice any differences.
Thanks!

KeymasterHi John,
Update notices do not occur with Multisite, which is why you have to update manually. You can read more about that here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/
As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Another option would be for you to install the third-party plugin, Health Check, which can mimic a bare WordPress install while your site visitors still see your site the way that it normally appears.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantI figured it out, new server didn’t have as much memory allocated for WordPress.
