    Hi Joshua,

We have left this functionality the way that it is intentionally, in order to give our users the ability to make choices on restocking on their own.

If you’d like to write a custom function for this, I don’t foresee any issue that would prevent it from working.

You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Valéry,

Thanks for providing me with that information.

I’m not seeing The Events Calendar in your plugin list in your system information.  We are currently on version 4.6.8.  Would you mind adding it and see if that resolves the issue?

Also, it seems that you only have a current license for Events Calendar PRO, not Event Tickets Plus, which may be why you are seeing an issue, since you cannot update this plugin and receive new bug fixes and features.

Does disabling Event Tickets Plus resolve the issue?

    Let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Micha,

It’s worth noting here that with a multi-site install that is not network activated, you may have to manually update your plugins, and will not receive notifications that updates are available.

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/

I am also seeing some theme-related errors, can you confirm that you have tested this with a WordPress default theme, like ‘Twentyseventeen’?

And just to clarify, there is no record of these orders in the Attendees tab or anywhere else?  Does this happen on all of your events?

Also, what host are you using?

Have you had a change to enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Brandon,

You can actually set the Main Calendar page to be your homepage, using the following tutorial as your guide:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-make-your-calendar-your-sites-home-page/

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Alexandra,

Glad to hear that your license is working now.

The Google Calendar format that you should use is the one called Public address in iCal format.

The address should look something like this:

    https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/test.email%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Documentation for configuring home page #1548255

    Hi David,

Unfortunately, you cannot configure the homepage in the way that you are describing, if you are using the main event page.  That is because it is an archive page, so it cannot be edited in the same way as a traditional page or post.  This feature was never available, although you do have some options for how to configure this yourself.

Please also note that support for customizations is limited as stated in our support policy.

In order to test if that message is related to your theme, can you try switching to a default WordPress theme, like ‘Twentyseventeen’, and see if the message goes away?

In the meantime, I’d recommend taking a look at your stylesheets and page templates and see if altering these settings helps you to achieve the results that you are looking for:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/stylesheets-and-page-templates/

These stylesheets and page templates can give you more flexibility on how to create your main events page, which may assist with your desired layout changes.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Event aggregator stopped working #1548254

    Hi Neil,

I’m not seeing your debug log attached to your original message.  You can add the following to your wp-config.php file in order to enable debugging:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);

// Don't display errors on the front end, instead...
    define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);

// Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,
    Jaime

in reply to: Questions for Tickets Plus Plug In #1547780

    Hi Natassia,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

    1. Do you have an option for adding a suggested donation ?

We unfortunately do not have that option, but you may be able to integrate a third-party plugin in order to achieve that functionality.

    2. Can this plug-in do Pay-What-You-Can?

No, we do not have this option available out of the box.

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

Is there a limit to how many custom fields you can populate?

No, there is no limit on how many custom fields you can create for your tickets!

Is there a limit to how many events with tickets we can have live at any given time?

No, there is no limit to how many events with tickets you can have at once.  The only consideration would be performance on your site, but there are many ways to optimize performance with your events, especially if your host can handle the traffic that your site will get.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Micha,

The following extension should be able to help you with this issue:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/elegant-themes-divi-theme-compatibility/

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Micha,

In your system information, these are the versions I am seeing:

    Event Tickets Plus version 4.7.2
    Event Tickets version 4.7.3.1
The Events Calendar PRO version 4.4.26
    The Events Calendar version 4.6.17

However we are currently on these versions:

    Event Tickets Plus version 4.7.3
    Event Tickets version 4.7.3.1
The Events Calendar PRO version 4.4.27
    The Events Calendar version 4.6.18

I am also seeing some theme-related errors, can you confirm that you have tested this with a WordPress default theme, like ‘Twentyseventeen’?

And just to clarify, there is no record of these orders in the Attendees tab or anywhere else?

Let me know how debugging goes and if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Annie,

    That’s great to hear!

Yes, your future recurring events should now be created since you have changed the setting.

    Hi Valéry,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

What version of The Events Calendar were you using on your website?

Can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
