KeymasterHi Glen,
Thanks for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing this problem.
Unfortunately, I could reproduce the same issue on my end. I have logged a bug report for this so it can be addressed in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.
I will set this thread’s status as “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released.
We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi David,
As mentioned in the article that I linked you to, you can set the Main Events Page as your homepage. You can check if this is the case by going to Settings < Reading and it should look like this:

Right now, it looks like you may have your blog page as your homepage, with your events included in the main blog loop.
The way that you would edit that page if you’d like to leave it as is may be managed through your theme, if you are using a front-end editor or page builder of some kind.
I can assure you that nothing has changed within our plugin about how the layouts are managed.
As I mentioned previously, in order to test if that message is related to your theme, can you try switching to a default WordPress theme, like ‘Twentyseventeen’, and see if the message goes away?
Let me know how all of that goes and if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi gdtmarketing
We’d love to assist you further with this issue! Can you open up a new thread, so that we can provide you with individualized attention?
Once there, as a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

KeymasterHi Shayne,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Natalie,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Have you used Eventbrite with another site before? If so, it may have the other site recorded there instead of the current one you’d like to use.
You can check this by going to eventbrite.com and going to Account Settings < App Management. You can see and change all of the information you need there.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Liz,
Thanks so much for reaching out again here!
You can also use Additional Fields to display your custom fields in Filter Bar:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-filter-bar/#additional-fields
Please note that if none of your events have this field selected, then the field will not appear.
Are you seeing this filter appear under Events Settings < Filters?
Can you provide me with a link where you are seeing this issue?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Regis,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can try using the third-party plugin User Switching, in order to change the meta data from the perspective of the user.
Let me know if that helps!

June 7, 2018 at 5:27 am in reply to: What happens if I delete a ticket after a few have already been sold? #1548283Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Mary,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Users will not get a notification if the ticket has been deleted, so you should be fine on that front.
I’d also recommend updating Event Tickets Plus to the most recent version (4.7.3).
After that, you can install the third-party plugin, Health Check, which can mimic a bare WordPress install while your site visitors still see your site the way that it normally appears. You can test if the functionality works this way.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Richard,
You can add the event start date by adding the following function to that snippet. You may have to further customize if you’d like it to be a link:
Also, here is our full list of available functions to use:
https://theeventscalendar.com/functions/
You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!

KeymasterHi Tom,
I’m not quite sure what you’re trying to achieve, however if you are trying to customize the single-event.php template, you’ll want to use this file path:
[your-theme]/tribe-events/single-event.php
In order to inspect if there is a javascript issue, you can use Google Chrome Developer Tools to check out the page:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime
