    Hi Natalie,

You can try adding the following snippet in order to edit attendee meta data:

    https://gist.github.com/andrasguseo/ec8bb9457e6b559894d5ab3c4a4c1e73

You can also try this plugin that lets you edit attendee info as an admin even for tickets that were purchased anonymously:

    attendee-data-editor.1.1

It seems that you don’t currently have a valid license, is this correct?  If that is the case, I am limited in how much more I can assist you with your issues.

    Let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Multi-day Facebook events importing multiple times #1418687

    Hi Jen,

Thanks so much for providing me with those URLS.  Unfortunately, this is linked to a known issue where recurring events do not import properly from Facebook.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.

I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.

They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.

Thank you for your patience as we see this through.  Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Marc,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

If I understand you correctly, you’d like to change the “More details” button to say “Buy Now”.  You can achieve this with a third-party plugin like Say What? or you can use the following tutorial to try to change that wording as well:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/

Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions on this topic!

    Thanks,

    Hi Wendy,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue!

As a first troubleshooting step, try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes.

If that doesn’t resolve the issue, and you’d like to revert to a previous version of our plugins, you can find them on your Downloads page and downgrade manually.

Here is our tutorial on how to go about doing that:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

However, if you’d like to try to troubleshoot further, we can do that as well.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Andre,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

In the meantime, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Add fields to RSVP #1417908

Thanks so much for reaching out!

The functionality to add additional information to an RSVP is available with Event Tickets Plus.  You may be able to achieve something similar with a customization or a third-party plugin.

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Hi Scott,

in reply to: Tickets and GST display #1417889

    Hi Darryl,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I would recommend setting up the taxes through WooCommerce (which it sounds like you have already done), and then find the template within WooCommerce that calculates the taxes.  You can copy that code into template file that you need and try to have the amount calculated there as well.

You can reference our Themer’s Guide to see what template to edit.  I’d recommend starting off by looking at the /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/wootickets/tickets.php.

If all else fails, you can hide the price field that doesn’t take GST into account, or add a note next to it saying that it is minus tax.

Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions along the way!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Michael,

Thanks so much for reaching out again!

We don’t currently have any experience with this type of customization, although I don’t see any reason why you can’t make it work with the help of your developer.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Hi Nicolas,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Unfortunately, creating many custom recurrence rules can lead to long load times on your site.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
